That's the way it stays thanks to some incredible last ditch defending from the Jets.

Wow went out, came back in and the tiniest player I've ever seen has been subbed on for CCM.

Josh Nesbit apparently.

144cm  (4' 8.7"), says one source. If that's right, and this source is, he is now far and away the shortest pro football player in the world, by four inches, ahead of Polish midfielder Marcin Garuch of GKS Belchatow and 31-year-old Brazilian attacker Elton Jose Xavier Gomes, both 5ft 0.6in.

Excellent passing (95% accuracy and good timing, pace, placement, choices) and great control, but seems slow, and not so physical.

ETA another source puts Nisbet at 158cm (5'2") - which sounds more credible. That still puts him in the top ten shortest pro footballers ever. Pleased for the guy and wish him luck.

Gemmill and Flynn were 5 5.

Picked up his first senior contract today, he was stacking shelves at Woolworths when Mulvey rang. Must have been doing the bottom shelves ...
