Another miss of the season contender there by Ninkovic!

Looks like the Roar might have to sub on their 16 year old defender on the bench

Sydney butcher another chance, DDS slams it off the post.

White has been great so far for the Roar. Last week must have been just down to nerves, having a full week to prepare has obviously helped him settle them down.

Sydney have been rubbish but they will still find a way to win this, it just seems to be what they do.

DDS slots home, 0-1. Nothing White could do about that.

Tuned in just in time for that, quite the goal!

Just watched a replay of this one. Amazing. Wouldn't have picked a Roar win in a million years, especially after having to sub off two defenders inside 30 minutes.

Sydney playing with arrogance. Went into cruise mode after scoring, expecting an easy win. Good on the Roar, showed some good fight and had the momentum at the end. Good to see upsets are still on the cards this year.

Very winnable game for CCM tonight, they really need to win it if they want to try and avoid back to back spoons.

Ha, that miss from Riera says so much about his form this season. Luckily for him they score straight afterwards.

Dear oh dear. Tarek scores from a cross that the keeper stands and watches.

Love a good keeping howler, as long as it's not ours. So many fantastic ones to choose from this season.

"Wanderers fans just about fed up with their Spanish import". Indeed.

Nice assist from Roly for Sotorio's goal. Mariners brought the new speedster kid on 10 minutes ago and have hardly passed it to him once.

Oh FFS Brenton Speed shut the fudge up! Still trying desperately to turn that slight contact on Mileusnic into a dead set penalty. Had to actually mute him for 5 minutes and yet he's still going.

HT, Goodwin a bit of a sucker punch goal to give the Reds the lead. Much better game than the earlier one.

Second keeping howler of the evening and McClaren scores with the cheeky backheel.

1-1

City the better of the game but finishes 1-1. Harrison looks like a very handy pick up for City. He and McClaren have given their attack some sting.

With Friday nights game in mind.

Victory without Toivonen tonight (due to knock at training) Neidermier and Honda on the bench.

Broxham and Antonis on 4 yellow cards.

Yellow for Antonis. One less player we need to worry about next week.

Not much else to talk about from this game. Glory might just be happy enough to pick up a point.

Kilkenny flicks the ball up into a Victory players hand and gets the penalty. Definitely ball to hand. He converts it for a 0-1 lead.

It's harsh I reckon. Ball seemed to come off his body first. All these calls just depend on the whim of the ref.
