DIngham limps off, the schoolkid for the Roar comes on at Left Back.

What. A. Goal. Roar take the lead against the run of play 0-1

Woof, another great strike. 0-2

And CCM answer with a tidy goal themselves, 1-2

How did Pain not slot that? Open goal to aim at and he hits the defender on the line. 1-2

Top quality header and its 1-3.

O'Neill with a rocket, 2-3!!

Sounds like some game!

Hint of offside in two of the Roar goals. H-Wall interfering in one and Henrique OS in the other. roar a bit luck. CCM also unlucky not to get a penalty when Simon was help back in the box.

Hoole lucky not to get a yellow card for the push. He's on 4 YC at the moment. Next game vs Nix

More goals to come I'd say.

Lopez from outside the box! 2-4.

O'Neill with a second yellow and he is off. CCM down to 10 men, 2-4.

Waste of a Red! His yellow meant he was already missing the Nix game.

I know, I know, its serious!

DWH takes advantage of a 50/50 challenge and slots it past BK, 2-5.

The comeback is on!! 3-5

And Matt Simon picks up a second yellow in the final seconds, 3-5.

Simon now sent off. Mariners will be severly depleted when we play them the following round.

This match has been great for us!

Simon really wanted the red card there, it was the last tackle of the game and your down by 2? Why would you even think about doing that.

Im not surprised he snapped. After all the hard work he puts in every week trying to lead his team... bottom of table by miles... red card to Oneill... score three and still lose...

Oi Oi Edgecumbe... lets have a clean sheet

He set the tone for that second yellow for dissent. He was gobbing off at the ref all game and it set the example for others to follow. Lucas isn't a good ref but he didn't really do much wrong last night.

Fudging Victory. Useless thanks for nothing

"Here, have three points".

Wouldn't expect such unbelievable stupidity from a player of his quality.

Peter Green's really got his work cut out with this one. If mild mannered Kosta is flinging f-bombs at the lino like that then you know the atmosphere is tense out there.

Permalink Permalink

Can't believe Kosta got it in from that angle.

FT 1-1. Kosta's equaliser a wee bit of silver lining in the day for us.

Keeps City close. On the fence about the Adelaide/Jets game now, I'm almost ready to give up on fourth and want the Jets to not pick up points now.

We have CCM next week and they have Simon and O'Neil out with suspension and Oar with Injury... must win 3 points there. Would like Newcastle to win.exciting.

Draw please! Keep 4th well in sight.

Permalink Permalink

Likewise. Not giving up on 4th by any means.

0-0 at HT. Goodwin hit the crossbar late in the half but other than that, not much happening.

Permalink Permalink

Not a lot in this. 0-0 is about right at half time.

A Jets win would certainly provide a bit of points pressure for us. Could be a good thing.

Kotahitanga. We are one.
