Quite amusing seeing Baumjohann pack a massive sad about getting subbed off. For goodness grow up.

Sydney a couple CBs down, maybe a chance for Tratt to impress the next few weeks?

Tratt!

No better way to impress than that!

How many times did he hit the post with us before scoring? Just so typical he scored first time out with Sydney

That was the dumbest red card given, the keeper will be feeling shark for that especially because now one of his team mates has to come off with him

I honestly can't think of a worst sequence of play by an A-League Keeper than that.

Wow, what a start to this game. Jets miss a great chance and the Glory go down the other end and win a penalty in the first minute. Kilkenny converts from the spot,  0-1.

That's a harsh pen imo. Chianese's made a mess of it and just blundered into Moss on the ground. The question is if the ref hadn't given it would VAR have overturned it? Almost certainly not.

Jets press on, but Perth do not seem to be too troubled.

Great attempt by Jair, unlucky!

Actually, getting outplayed quite a bit these days

Glory is this season's jammiest team.

Georgievski should have done more with this ball in front of the Perth goal.

Jets still very much in this, they are creating the chances & sooner or later they gotta finish one surely?

That goal is a perfect example, how many times does that get called a foul on the keeper? 0-2

Famous last words :-)

Moss fluffs a regulation save (should have just punched it out for corner) and it's 0:2.

True but he should've done better. Mossy has always been just a bit uncertain under the high ball. Even as it was curling in the air towards him I was sucking in my breath fearing disaster.

Desperate times if you are subbing Hoffman on in the 36th minute.

Trailing 0:2 at home in the first half would qualify as desperate times.

Jair with the touch of an elephant there, should have pulled one back just before half time

Considering his import status and pedigree he's simply not pulling his weight so far this season. And you can say the same for Vargas too. They can both look great but when the crucial moment comes they are missing the kinds of chances that need to be put away, and it's costing them points.

Is Ernie too "nice" as a coach to get the best out of them?  We talked about it while he was at the Nix.

If/when the Jets finally click they are going to absolutely smash a few teams. As for Glory, job done. Very effective team, brilliantly coached.

22 players on the park and not one striker amongst them. Probably gonna see a 10 goal thriller then

Oggie from Elsey, 0-1

If only Adelaide had a striker, should be even at half time but Goodwin misses a free header from in front.

And Brattan makes it 0-2

Jordan Elsey is a liability for the Reds. So many costly errors this season.

Both games tonight underline that in a comp this even it's the team that makes the least mistakes that will come out on top.
