Very average, but Victory were well on the back foot by the time he came on.

And he saw very little ball. When he did have the ball he looked very composed, made good passes, didn't cough up possession and put through one excellent ball that a better striker than Athiu might've got on the end of.

Great to see him back in the league.

To be honest, no games for a month showed. I thought he looked more solid body wise but appeared a lot slower. Bit like Gary Hooper. He played the safe passes. I think when back up to speed he might prove himself a focal point. But either the A League has really sped up or he has lost some.

That was the most entertaining round of games I've seen in a while. The number of missed chances was phenomenal.
