I'm hoping for more human users in my new division. Gets a bit dull playing computer teams pretty much every week.

Yeah I did notice that everyone in that division except us got marked inactive! It should be better for you next season.

Aw here's all of you getting promoted, meanwhile I'm facing possible relegation on Friday. I don't yet know who my opponent is. Should know later tonight I guess.

That wouldn't be sad haha.

If I come up against group 1 runner up,I should win comfortably.

Group 2 is actually thunder thighs so don't want to come up against him, though have done ok against him in the friendly leagues. (he missed out on first place by goal difference.

Also a bit iffy coming up against the group 3 runner up hammer time,he's got a decent team that could upset mine.

Should be interesting. Too bad I'm working.

i finishes third after losing the last game of the season... after being 2nd

You drew haha. But yeah bugger for you,but good for Buffy!

You should get promoted anyway at least.

Debating wheather or not to put up a full strength squad for promotion/relegation game.  My low routine keeper would get eaten alive in the Premiership (as would my whole squad really).  Was planning on selling my elder statesman kiwi CM this season but he went on the market a couple of times with no bidders, so ended up having to keep him.  Was hoping to sell him next season but I'd need him to have any chance of picking up some points in the Prem, but if I did keep him, this will make him another year older and re-sale value going even further down.

Any thoughts?

Sorry, it's Thunderthighs here (couldn't get my old user name of Rammtallica on this website, so I've amended it slightly).

Play your full side. I hate when people field under strength for these games, takes away from the realism of the game, and makes it unfair on a team you play who may deserve to be in the championship

I'm going to get absolutely murdered next season now I'm promoted to the Aotea Championship. Going to concentrate on building my squad though to be able to rebound back up after and be more competitive. I mean, could try to buy lots of good older players to try compete more, but would still struggle to compete even if I did and then be left with not much.

Sorry, too late now - made the last second decision to stay put for now.  If I get the opportunity next year, I should have sold a couple of my older players and hopefully picked up another Kiwi midfielder - will definately go for promotion.

Kiwi League 1 Group 7 - Tegal's B team has followed me up and Sanchez AFC are there as well. Looking forward to this season!

League 1 group 2 is looking sweet. CFC WhatTheFudge has gone inactive, but Tawa FC, Racing Club North Shore, and Selwyn Hawks FC have all been promoted to join me and the fat cockneys.

Edit: and apparently I was the runner up in last seasons UETA Champions Cup... :D

First game tonight, keen to beat this team because the manager is listed as "D. Beckham". Ugh.

My first game tonight is against a team I lost to twice by one goal last season (1-0 and 3-2). Hopefully I can finally beat them in the new season.

20 Jun 09:02 · edited 09 Sep 06:36

Firsts lost 3-2 so again by one goal. Elsewhere my reserves have picked up where they left off by losing 13-0

22 Jun 08:27 · edited 09 Sep 06:36

Having tight match. 1-1 with 20 minutes to go. Surprised I'm having close games in the Aotearoa Championship. The other teams should be murdering me.

22 Jun 11:31 · edited 09 Sep 06:36

Reckon as long as you have a good keeper, then you're a chance. Try stay up!

My keeper does alright, has lots of routine, but thinking should maybe upgrade there actually. Pulled off a draw!

Won my first match of the season against TTU Academy 2-1. Happy with that but I am up against a tough team next match that was relegated.

Game ended 2-1 fairly happy with the match thought I could get a point but some superb keeping prevented me from scoring most of the time.

0-0 draw for me against a team I should probably be beating. My reserves managed their first win though with a 2-0 victory.

29 Jun 12:11 · edited 09 Sep 06:36

Bloody hell, everyones doing terribly so far.

In league 1 Group 2, there are 4 fever clubs in the relegation zone (Tawa FC (obviously),Racing club north shore, Selwyn Hawks FC and Earthquake city). Only the fat cockneys doing well in that group, coming 4th.

I beat Sanchez AFC 2-1 away but I lost 3 players to injury. I'm now missing 5 players for my next match

Went and bought a 1 and a half star defender for 83k to put on my bench after I realised I only had 3 fit defenders.

Buy some3 star players to replace 2.5 stars for 6-10mil if you can? That's what I've done this season. Especially if one of those 2.5s is your keeper. Hoping I got some wins..desperately need them

At least my Wellington Phoenix side won 3-0!

Managed a 2-0 win over a team that got relegated from the league above so pretty happy with that.

Came from 4-2 down with 11 to go to get a 4-4 draw.

Wellington Phoenix with a 0-0 draw.

Played with a back 4 plus wingbacks and defensive mid, hoofed longballs into the opposition area and won 1-0 despite only having 38% possession. Boring boring Sky Valley.

Peow FC managed a 2-1 but failed to put shots away.

Reserves managed a 0-0 draw with Shaky Boys dominated the shot count like the firsts but also just weren't putting them away.
