Gloat about any big name signings you have made, or ridicule/be jealous of other peoples signings. You could also advertise any Gaos you wish to unload onto some other poor unsuspecting side here.
Transfers
I'll start things off with a gloat about a 36million profit I made in 6 weeks by buying this guy for 31mill and selling him for 67mill!

SKILLS
Not sure whether I should buy an older defender that has already developed or just wait for some of my young defenders to develop and use them. If I chose the latter option it will probably mean ending the season in the lower half of the table and probably just missing relegation. I could however use the money to develop my facilities instead.
Ahhh so many decisions!
For my Wellington Phoenix side,I expanded what facilities I could, then used the rest to buy 2 players. they are either better and younger,or the same and younger. 3 star rec each. Am now selling the older players.
The players I got are foreigners though,so have to be careful.
SKILLS
just picked up this guy for $44m - probably overspent but oh well, too bad
He'll help your leaky (in the friendly league at least) defense for a few seasons to come!
Could be a good candidate to take corners too?
yeah, that's what I'm thinking. freekicks for the moment too

Managed to grab this guy for 15mil...Looks like he will develop to be a 4 star player but for now he is a good replacement for my 2 and a half star DMC
SKILLS
got this guy for 22 mil - I'm trying to upgrade all my imports to at least 3.5 star players now I'm up a division
How on earth did you get a 64millikn bid on this guy theprof?

i scout him at 1 and a half stars!
refer discussion on TM forums.
Uh oh, my awesome goalkeeper announced his retirement for the end of the season. I dont really have anyone who can replace him, and will struggle to find the funds to purchase someone.
Signed this guy as someone that will play behind my front
2. Meant to get to 4 stars according to my scouts
Offensive Midfielder Center
Also signed this guy to solidify my defence. He is a bit
old but hopefully my yoof come through to replace him
Defender Left
Splashed the cash to get a new keeper which I've needed for a season or two. Probably paid too much, but was getting sick of leaking so many goals. Can hopefully make some of that back with some sales.

Brilliant buy that, he'll be your keeper for the next 10 seasons. When you divide the transfer fee by 10, its a bargain.
No goals conceded to date with him in the team. Just got to work out how to score now.
Been in search of a young striker for most of the season - but ended up with this chap. Cost me a fair bit and will probably bring an end to my spending for the season, but hopefully he'll bloom into a decent player to lead my midfield once my incumbent is gone in a couple of seasons. Search for a striker will have to wait to next season.
3. Alojzy Chmielewski
Midfielder Center
Saw this guy going for fairly cheap and he was an improvement on my keeper. Accidentally did the wrong bid option and spent more than I needed to though. How important is routine? Should I play this guy off the bench for awhile or should I just drop him straight in?

Routine seems pretty important with keepers. How good is your current keeper and what is his routine?
Sounds like an interesting decision on who to start! Is an advantage to having a B team :p
This keeper slightly edges out my current keeper and has more room for improvement. Current keeper is at 24.9 routine. According to the guide a player only needs to play 9 minutes to get the full 0.1 routine per match. I think I will bring him on for the last 10 minutes. If he screws up I will drop him to the reserves. In hindsight probably not the best use of money but now gotta get some use out of him.
Ordinarily id just shove him in the starting XI,but the fact that you're in a title race would make me less reluctant to take the chance on him.
This transfer market business is hard! Sitting on $150 mill, on look out for good local player. I do have another spot for a foreigner, but I think I'd like to keep that up my sleeve for now, and use it for a spot I want to improve later on, particularly as I'm looking good for promotion.
It's tough though - looking at a local 3.5 star 25 year old left midfield tonight, but he's just a bit average on a couple of areas, so been spending hours umming and ahhing over whether to go for him or not! On about my third time of comparing him with the current player I have in that position!
Was happy enough with my last purchase, but he's been bloomin' injured twice, so has been unavailable more than he's been available. Long may that not continue!
If anyone wants a kiwi right midfield, 3.5 stars, I have four and have transfer listed the best one, 7million, trying to raise some funds. Probably just for those in a lower division but if you're desperate....
Ended up buying left mid I was umming and ahhing about. Better than my previous left mid who was foreign, so I'm selling him. $50 mill on this guy, hope to get back $15 mill on my sale. I'm not convinced this guy is exactly what I want/need for future, but should do a ok job for now.
If you can replace a foreigner with a local guy who is better, you've got to be fairly happy with that
decent crossing and passing stats, should be enough to create some decent opportunities for your front men.
Yea, would like some more technique in particular... but if I can't keep being picky about every stat unless I'm buying 5 star players or something. That'd be awesome!
Had no left back, so I got this guy for 6 million:

And all my strikers are 30, so for another 6 million...

Good moves? Or could I have got more/paid less? Any advice appreciated
Generally you make a bit more selling at the start of the season,as people have a lot of sponsorship money.
Probably the best tip I can give is to time your transfers. For example,It's no use puttin people up for sale on a Wednesday,as it'll end on a Monday and that is probably when the least people are online as there are no games (except cup later in the season) that day,and it is also the economy update so most clubs lose money that day. So timing the end of a transfer auction around game times can sometimes net you a bit more.
Alternatively you can flip that, and buying at those times can net you the odd bargain if you're lucky.
Bought this guy for 30mill at the end of last season,he is now at a bid of 68mill with 4 and a half hours remaining on auction. Result!
Ended up going for 80million. Big profit!
Geez, was a good signing for 30 million, nice work
My screenshotting is shoddy, but I got this guy for 5 million, filled a hole, pretty pleased as there was no-one younger in my price range, this'll last for a few seasons:

You playing him on the right hand side? I don't think I have anyone with a gold start in crossing.
Probably sticking him at DM at this point, I have some pretty decent wingers and no DM, but that certainly is the lure, gold stars can't be ignored!
I'd be happy with a 3 star player with a gold star in anything.
Haha N-bomb I see you have a bid in my player.
How much you reckon you'll go up to? :p
Haha, who says expensive players can't be in league 2 division 7? Just thought I should at least open the bidding ;-)
I'm not sure he'll go for that much more to be honest. Being the end of the season, people don't have that much cash. It's hard to tell with young 3 star players. Hope you end up getting him.
