Right leading with 10 mins to go, time for the final sub, my "young" keeper gets his chance...

Leilei's goal was his 10th goal in just 11 games in Season 33.

Really happy with what I have seen highlights wise from Morrison & Atkinson working in defence.

Cheers, I got a bit lucky in the first half but thanks for a quality watch, I look forward to the re-match. Good win also Jono, should be in for another cracking Div 4 this season.

Looks like it, my team going for the defensive stand once again. Not going to let the goals in, but not looking to score many either :P

BOOM! The Trains renew their rivalry with the Taureg Drivers aka Rangitoto College Old Guys at Homebush Road, and, well, it was the Soren Kofoed show...

2-1 victory for me against Tawa AFC. Martin Duff showed that he still has it at 35 years old by netting 2 free kicks.

Tawa AFC finding life in division 3 a bit tougher then!

I ended up beating disjointed 3-0.

Hopefully this doesn't commentator's curse him, but that is now 3 hatricks in 4 games for Soren...

Sorry I'm really slack at the moment. It'll be the same after the next round as it is right in the middle of my exams. But after that should be better.

Please note, The Trains are tied for the best and fairest.

Please also note that the Swamp Monkeys are tied for thr Thugs award.

Also, if all teams in Division 2 could now please keep drawing, that'll be fine.

Wait you're playing with yourself again?

Looking forward to a huge clash in Division 4 tonight. Really need to step it up.

AD Fafe have been opened as $1.75 favourites for tonight's big encounter, with the draw at $2.10 and LHL at $2.25

Permalink Permalink

Tempted by some of that draw action :P

What are the Whippingboys odds away from home tonight?

The sides are tied at one win apiece in former matchups, if this was the league I'd back my squad but since it's the dreaded Fever League it's hard to split us. Both teams are very strong offensively, I have the better defence but they have some fearsome wingers and strikers, could be some goals in it!

Permalink Permalink

Early action but no goals here, LHL again dominating early, but of course that means little! Skovajsa is down to 3.5 stars but pulling off the saves early for Fafe.

Permalink Permalink

Down to 10 men. Here we go....

Permalink Permalink

Grr 1-0 Highlands, how do you get two yellows in 20 minutes, come on now!

Permalink Permalink

Down to nine men! You're kidding! Jeebus, I'll be at the foot of the fair play ladder now.

Winning and losing 4-0.

It's been a long time between drinks for The Trains against Sky Valley. After winning the first encounter 2 - 1, since then it's been 2 draws and 3 defeats, so very very pleasing to be 4 - 1 up late in the game...

Well LHL dominated our game again early on, then from about 60 mins there was a large period of back and forward, but they scored first, then who stepped up to equalise just 2 mins later, but Leilei (15 G in 15 Apps). And the rest of the game while having chances didn't see anything finished and it ends 1-1. But given the result in the other game it does put Fafe to the top of the league with 4pts from 2 games.

I believe, based on more games played, that that officially means The Trains are the cleanest team in the leagues so far...

Unlike the Swamp Monkeys.
