two points of interest in the stats so far - my nix fc are still uncarded in this leage and yet I've had 3 red cards in the competitive leagues and I've got one guy bordering on a 5 yellow ban

also I note that I set up an under 21 reward and then realised this:

that's right of the 6 U21 players currently in use in the lague 4 of them are mine.

Gah I really must remember to set my tactics for these games against TTU and Tegal, no wonder I keep losing by double-digits, I keep going slightly attacking then very attacking after 50 minutes #nohoper

lol 1-0 to your lot at 45 mins.

it's frustrating cos I've had twice the shots on target than you and yet you've scored! And you have a 3* keeper to my almost 4*.

Up 2-0 at home vs Waiouru at 70min mark.  Shocking shooting stats despite being up (16/3 vs 13/7 shots/on target), but good conversion rate for the shots on target I guess.  Hoping we can hold onto the win to maintain the 100% record!

Update:  woot won 3-0

4-0 win at Naenae Park, Chris Wood doing all the damage.

Actually, the fever premiership reminds me a bit of the ASBP.

You've got the 2 Auckland teams who win it every year. When Paraparaumu Disjointed was in, they were kinda like tee Dubs. And N-Bombs side is clearly WaiBop

The Trains were actually leading TTU 0 - 1 early on.

Then it turned to puss...

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

Haha, good to see I didn't lose to much ground on my bye week.

Haha that is indeed weird. Even alphabetically you'd be on top. They must use games played as a determining factor, but the wrong way round.

I had a weird situation once in international competition (when we used to be good) where me and another player were equal on everything after the group stage. I had beaten him twice in group stages, so felt I should have advanced. But he went through because of alphabetical order, costing me a crapload of money. I complained bitterly to the TM teamsters. They didn't care.

That was a turning point for my club too. It was all downhill after that. And now after the changes that help the top clubs in nz stay there, I doubt we'll return to such giddy heights.

Which changes help the top clubs stay there?

Mostly ridiculous $ payouts for international comps.

It doesn't affect larger countries so much because of the number of teams they have, but a small country like nz it basically means the same teams retaining all the best players and getting into the international competitions all the time, so they can get $ to retain the best players and so forth.

^ That's why FMU is great, there are like six active sides so it's super easy to get in the Prem!
