Jus got back from filming the game. Probably one of the more boring games I have seen in a while but it is a friendly warm up game after all. Unfortunately because I was trying to concentrate on filming I didnt get to make too much notice of who was who in either team. All I know is the Nix didnt even get out of 1st gear. They were very clearly a class or 3 better than Waitakere but then you would expect that. They just didnt really change gear. if it had been a game where they needed to win by 8 goals they would have won by 10. Man for man better across the park and off the ball movement so much better. Not sure why but they just didnt seem to hit the throttle, probably because its so early in pre season.

I've been getting the idea that he's really putting the hard yards in to make this year his big breakthrough, and the best way he can do that is by taking every chance he gets.
An on form Pavlovich, plus Greeny, Ifill, and 'SuperEuroMegaStrikerYetToBeSigned' would make the fight for places even more intense.
