Same here. I think they post the membership cards out mid September, not long to go now!

From memory, I think for those who renewed their season tickets during the three week renewal period the card should be arriving in early-ish September, and for those who bought season tickets after that the should be arriving a couple of weeks after that (so guess late-ish September).

if my memory serves me well, I think I got my Season ticket about an hour before I was due to go to the first home game....

Benchwarmer membership bought. Got the version without a ticket included, because I might not be able to make the CCM game on Nov 4 like I thought (and I can always get a ticket later).

When will I receive my membership card?

For renewing members who sign up during the special offer dates of 15-31 July 2011, you will receive your card prior to 30 September 2011.

Members who sign up after 10 July will receive their cards early October 2011.

Hopefully that is clear enough for everyone?

I do it in the vain hope that I will get a landyard or season pin each year.

If not there's always next year.

I know the Nix are short staffed at the moment and I do think they are coping well! But there are over 40 thousand followers on the nix facebook page but only one official mention of season memberships and that was back in July?
Surely this is an area they could promote it more, and for free!
They have done a good job with the Radio ads and the Newspaper ads/ banner near the stadium.

Good point Mykey  40,000 declared interested in the Nix in one space...got to be tapped with a focused offering for sure.

I predict most passes will arrive just in time, some will be late, some will go to the wrong address.

Past performance is always a good indicator in the predictions business, let me tell you!

I still want a fridge magnet though.......

A question - do members get an benefits for away games? I'm a member and am thinking of going to the Adelaide game at Hindmarsh in December

I noticed also the Jets had put a note on their facebook page (not nearly as many fans as WPFC) about getting dad a season pass for fathers day. That would have been a good thing for the Nix to do.

I'm not even sure if they advertised tickets going on sale for the Tauranga game.

Def agree more can be done with twitter and facebook especially since it don't cost them a dime.

On a more positive note, it's not long to go till we get to use our shiny new season passes!

I for one would have been asking some serious questions if I had got one for father's day.

Perhaps this year with or without money worries, advertising during the RWC would still be problematical?

It is pretty quiet tho' so hopefully more to come as we approach kick-off (other than the free publicity from the media).

I thought I read somewhere, a while back that FFA were going to reduce prices.

$28 last year for an adult wasn't it?

The benchwarmer membership mentions a "membership gift". Any idea what these might be?

The interesting thing is, all the prices are slightly cheaper than they were for the games last year.

No free kids for the first match in the new year it seems.

That is probably because the first match of the new year is part of the 12 hours of midweek football that FFA are funding. I'm guessing the club has no say in what promotions it has for that game.

Also, promotions didn't always appear until a few weeks before the game last season, might be the same this time around.

Hi all. We are wanting to take our nearly 3 year old daughter to her first Phoenix game against the jets. Do many people with kids sit outside the family zone. Not keen on sitting down that end of the stadium. Cheers

You should be fine just about anywhere in the stadium with a 3 year old kazza. The only place you probably want to avoid is the Fever Zone, where everyone stands and the chanting and shouting might intimidate her. The rest of the place should be friendly enough. Might pay to pick somewhere less populated so there's lots of space if she wants to get up and wander around a bit, as 3 year olds are want to do.

Have had our kids in Bay 24 or 24 - A couple up from the Fever Zone. Atmosphere always pretty good in there.

You won't have any problems. Just don't try and go in the Fever Zone because they prefer to stand up in there. But there's plenty of room around the rest of the ground for kids.

Thanks Sinz. We have usually sat around Aisle 23/24 when it was just me and the hubby. Think it would be nice to take her as she comes and watches me play on Sundays :)  She loves the sport :)

Under 4s free but can't occupy a seat.  However I'm sure there would be plenty of unoccupied seats.
