The website seems to be a bit flakey. No sign of Foundation option for me, hasn't got our membership history, and got a geeky error at one point. I think I'll leave it a few days and try again.

If i buy my ticket now, and want to sit with a group of mates who order at a different time, am I able to request that at a later date (via seating preferences maybe?). Want to do it asap but waiting to sort a group to sit with!

Covered in the latest "in the nix'.
If you got it that would have been great.Have given up telling them my email address. One of the first to register with them and have since that time given it to them numerous times and still dont get them and email address is the same as what it was back then.

In The Nix arrived today advising season memberships on sale now and Dunedin Tickets go on sale next week.

Had to phone. No big deal, but the other members of our family pass were not tagged as eligible for Foundation option. With the family pass, they only sought to have the individual tickets separately named from season 2 so I guess that's why. Also wanted to establish how to renew without family option as the "fruit of the old loins" is almost grown up now and we're no longer eligible for family season ticket.

Tickekek are in my good books. Due to an enforced change of schedule, I can no longer attend a show that I booked $400 worth of tickets for. Sent them a nice email, acknowledging that such a request goes against terms & conditions of purchase, asking if they could change the dates of the tickets. Got a response stating that they'd checked with the show's producers and if I bought tickets for a new date at the same value as the original tickets, Ticketek would refund the original tickets. Gold. One time I tried that with Ticketmaster got me slapped down! Ticketek !

I'm also one that should be a foundation member but am not, but no issue, I'll sort it later when I buy my tickets can't see it being hard proving I've been a member since day one since my membership number is so low.

dead easy online, benchwarmer + 1 ticket. Does anyone know if the ticket can be used for games in Auckland?
I'd like to see more of these sold. I don't know how many they do sell but I reckon all out of town fans should buy one, buy the one with the ticket and come to AT LEAST one game. Also, if the club throw in a few goodies with the membership it is well worth it + you get to call yourself a TRUE supporter.

That and this new nix six option should be a massive seller for those fans who might be out of town for parts of summer or alternatively, those keen out of town fans who will travel up to six times. Brilliant idea.TopLeft072011-07-15 17:22:29

Yea awesome idea, and at $75 it's not too much to ask. I know I can make it down to Wellington for at least one match, and will definitely make every match played up here in Jafaland.
Planning on hitting the capital for Sydney FC on 4th Jan and sticking around until the marathon kicks off on the 8th against Perth Glory

I reckon the club needs more people like you. They say the FFA benefits from the huge (4 million) nz market with advertising etc but I think the club needs to get more from that market too. Non-attending members (or part time attenders) are still members and every $ of support counts. I imagine there's a lot of fans out there that don't attend the games but support the nix avidly, and I wonder if they even know about the bench warmer. Does this come down to marketing again? I dunno...

I should qualify as a Foundation member although they've been going to do extra things for season ticket holders every year and I'm struggling to think of a single thing that ever actually happened.

Sorry am I missing something?
Have some of you already renewed your membership?
I thought you could only do it from Monday?
If so, what were the prices? Don't think I saw anything in the thread about prices - but could well have missed it.

Also, me and the missus have had passes since Season 1, but somewhere along the lines one of our 2 accounts changed number, so her pass is no. 131 and mine is about 10'000 something.. so I wonder if they will only recognize her as Foundation Member??

She's going to be studying this year and I won't, so does anyone know how much it'll cost us to have 1xstudent and 1xadult for YF zone?

Cheers

Have prices gone down? I seemed to remember it used to cost more for adults..maybe I'm wrong. I'll call em up tomorrow and buy both passes! Hope we'll both show up as Foundation Members!

Fixed up my foundation member issue easily over the phone but can anybody tell me how you use the option to spread payment over 6 instalments? The nice lady at Ticketek wasn't sure and was going to find out but I haven't heard yet

I tried myself online and got most of the way though  but it never came up as an option so didn't want to press the dreaded submit payment option...

It's on the downloadable form on the Nix website: http://www.a-league.com.au/site/_content/document/00002311-source.pdf

Not sure why this wouldn't work over the phone, but it is an extra $30 so adds an extra couple of dollars on to your per match price.

There can never be too many haikus GD.  But please note I am out of fridge magnets after the last one and might have to resort to season badges (watch out for the pointy bits).

Just renewed my 2 over phone. Sorted out a few issues (including one not showing as foundation member) and just got email confirmation.
Love it.
The member phoneline is definitely the way to go.

If only it was so easy.Still having issues but seem to have a very nice lady sorting it for me.Problem seems to stem from the fact that for some reason i have 3 separate account numbers.Despite being assured in previous seasons it had been sorted.Hopefully this time it will be.

Part payment option is significantly more expensive as there is an $8.75 charge each time they take your money.  On top of the $30 fee for doing it that way.

So for six payments that is an extra $82.50 on top of the season pass price.

Presume that goes straight to ticketek.

I make the same assumption - credit card processing fee apparently.  Think I'll be waiting till I can scrape together the $250 and make a one off payment

Moving to Aus as the season begins. So will only be able to go one or two games this season (but many away games hopefully) Does anyone know if, with the Benchwarmer Membership you get a Card, similar to a season pass? Or if you can be a foundation Member with the Benchwarmer?
