From memory this is cheaper than what we paid last year (family), but I guess we are getting two games less (12 games at home, not sure if the Akld game will be complementary).

Hey guys

Getting my first season membership ever as I know im going to be in welly all year this season. Want to get my seats in the Fever Zone and was wondering what part of the zone do most members sit in? Might as well get as close to the action as I can!

Cheers,

Think adults were 280ish. but without the fury there is one less game.  So probably the same price on a per game basis.

To be honest, don't think I've ever stood in my season ticket spot in 4 years in the zone.

Generally tend to aim for a few rows up from the aisle entrance, not sure of the row numbers. Guessing AA and up.

arghhh... cant wait for the season memberships to go on sale. AND the new team kit.

I have cash now and won't have it (pretty darn sure) when the memberships are out. This has happened almost EVERY season in the past.

Annoys the heck out of me. Long off season.

agre with the "arrrrghhh"

yep, worst off-season ever: interminably long and a tad scary given the lack of clarity about our financial future

oh well, at least the mighty K'Boomers won

I would look for publicity about an Official launch first.

I have a feeling AA is the front section, by the pitch. A is the first row by the entrances and goes up towards the back

Nope, AA is the first seats below the entrances. A and AA start by the entrances and work their way up and down respectively.

What Mike is saying is that AA and A rows are next to each other - which is what I meant in the first place.

I read this article in Business pages re Debitsuccess  an NZ payment processing company.

  http://www.stuff.co.nz/business/5261598/Making-money-out-of-how-you-pay-money

Particularly interesting was this.......

".....Each year they send out their renewal notices, take a deep breath and wait to see how many members will renew. Currently that could well be fewer renewals than before. Debitsuccess helps make such club memberships more affordable, and smooths cashflows for clubs by "taking out the peaks and troughs", Dickinson said.

Now the company has found a new field and a new partnership, with TicketDirect, in providing similar services to season ticket-holders.

Matthew Davey, CEO of TicketDirect, says the system has already led to a 50% increase in season ticket sales.

"There has been an urgent need to make season tickets more affordable.

"It is hugely beneficial for rugby clubs if they can sell season passes, and this new payment mechanism provides the obvious solution to encouraging purchase," says Davey.

The service is being used by the Otago, Waikato, Canterbury and Hawke's Bay rugby unions. It lets members set up and pay for their season passes in small instalments over weekly, fortnightly or monthly intervals over a year, with payments from as little as $5 at a time.

The service has also been adopted by a large number of clubs in Australia's National Rugby League......."

Perhaps Terry and Nathan should take note ....and Ticketek too, if it doesn't already have a relationship with Debitsuccess.

If it helps sell more Season memberships  and makes it more manageable for more people ..

Ha! Shows I know buggerall. Didn't realise already a scheme in place- see below - V

I just logged onto the membership ticketek site (not really sure why...) and was greeted by this message:

Existing Wellington Phoenix FC members will enjoy an exclusive three-week period to renew their support and have first pick of the best seats at Westpac Stadium ahead of a bumper Hyundai A-League 2010/12 season.
From 9am on Friday July 15, until Sunday August 7, season 2010/11 members will have first right of renewal for what promises to be the biggest and best Hyundai A-League season ever.

With 14 games at Westpac Stadium, and another big match in Christchurch, Phoenix season members will get to experience more red-hot football action than ever in 2011/12.

How Much Of A Fan Are You?

This season we are introducing our new Foundation Club (FC) Membership. This select Club of members recognises those season members who have been with the Phoenix from the very start and have continued to support the club every year since season 2007/08. We want everyone to know that you have been right in behind the Phoenix since day one and continue to support the club in a very real way.

To be a Foundation Club Member you must have had a membership every season since 2007/08. It does not matter what your membership type is or if you changed types. You will be eligible to retain your Foundation Club Membership each season as long as you continue to renew your membership. FC Membership does not cost you anything extra.

In upcoming seasons we will be introducing more unique membership types that recognise the ongoing support of Wellington Phoenix members. So renew your membership today to be part of the Wellington Phoenix family.

Cheers J82
that lead me to see a section in the payment options part of memberships, that I wasn't aware of.
http://memberships.ticketek.co.nz/PHOENIX/Organisation/ContentBlurb.aspx?val=contactusview

"Members can elect to purchase using an Easy Pay option. This a six part payment option with payments charged to the nominated credit card on the second to last Monday of each month as per below:

Monday 22nd August 2011

Monday 19th September 2011

Monday 24th October 2011

Monday 21st November

Monday 19th December 2011

Monday 23rd January

A $30.00 fee is charged for this service in addition to standard service fees payable."

there's an option that will make it easier.

Thanks for the link RG

This bit puzzles me:

When will I receive my membership card?

For renewing members who sign up during the special offer dates of 15-31 July 2011, you will receive your card prior to 30 September 2011.
Members who sign up after 10 July will receive their cards early October 2011

I hope that's a typo. There's going to be lots of angst if it isn't.
