Thats BS though not everyone bothers with twitter or face book.Disappointed there has been no communication from the club. But then again i didnt really expect anything. They want our loyalty but give buggar all in return.

At least i get to be a foundation member. Big deal.

You would think there  would be at least something out there about it.Mind you i wouldnt be spending my money on advertising in the Doom Post.

At least it shows the season is slowly getting here. The splinters in my butt are about the same size as Rojas is gonna have this season.

Terry gives $1 million or more a year which he can't really afford.

FFS some of you really do go over the top.You have all been talking for months about the BS that has gone on during the off season here we are time to renew season tickets and what have they done nothing.Love the rose tinted glasses some of you are looking through.

Would have thought a good starting point would have been to have advised members from last season what was happening.Despite what many of you think this isnt the Phoenix site and it shouldnt be here that members find out about things, that personal touch may have just convinced those who havnt decided to join just yet.Given it seems those of us who are eligible only have 3 weeks to take up our foundation option it would have been nice for the club to advise us.

Yep i may not have put the money in that Terry has,but i have spent a FK sight more than just the  $250 per season, and stuck it out every game right from the first match so dont FKN bother lecturing me.

Phoenix Memberships Go On Sale
Tuesday, 12 July 2011

Membership tile

Existing members will have an exclusive three-week window for renewal when Wellington Phoenix memberships for the 2011-12 Hyundai A-League go on sale on Friday July 15 at 9am.

Existing members will have an exclusive three-week window for renewal when Wellington Phoenix memberships for the 2011-12 Hyundai A-League go on sale on Friday July 15.

Wellington Phoenix has responded to its customer research which revealed that some packages were just out of fans' reach in the current economic climate. In response, membership packages have been reduced on average by 15 per cent to help more fans show their support with a season membership.

Additionally, a new Easy Pay option has been introduced whereby members can spread payments over a six-month period which will make a membership even more affordable.

Another initiative is the new Foundation Club Membership - a membership only available to those who were first-season members and have renewed each season since.

Chief executive Nathan Greenham says the new features had been put in place because it was important the clubs loyal members were looked after.

Season memberships are the lifeblood of any football club and we truly value our members, Greenham said.

We have an exciting season ahead of us and making the finals is our minimum target.

That we came so close to making the final in season three whetted our appetite to go further.

When you experience the adrenalin of finals football you cant wait to savour it again.

Our supporters have had a hell of a ride over the last four seasons and we want that to continue.

At a glance:

Season 2010/11 members have an exclusive three week opportunity to renew 12 home games at Westpac Stadium in 2011/12 and one home game away from Wellington.

Average membership cost per game reduced. Big savings on gate prices.

New Easy Pay option to spread payments over six months

Free entry to the Phoenixs home game away from Westpac Stadium

Priority access to Finals Series tickets

 Members only special offers

Invitations to members only prize draws

 New Foundation Club Membership

For membership renewals go to the Wellington Phoenix website

New memberships will go on sale in mid August.

Yeah I'll back you up on this. In the past we have always got emails advising us of anything (and I still get emails advising me everytime a socceroo sneezes) yet 1 day out from season memberships going on sale and there's nothing (twits excepted). And yeah I could read it on the website, but get realistic guys, not everyone is going to do that. Seems very strange. Although if something arrives in the next 24 hours I'll take it all back.
Disagree with you on the Foundation membership thing though. I think that's cool.

Fever > all other outlets.

Purhaps they are just following a plan that had been set out with ads etc but everyone on this thread has jumped on it.

People read this thread but dont read the Phoenix web site.

Im sure everything will swing in to action tomorrow, but then again I may be being optomistic. But why not as I said yesterday lets wait and see, too many people read into stuff and come up with wrong answers, season tickets are an important money stream for the club. Its just 1 more sleep, cool your heels for a while !!!!!!

Ballane has a point - surely the club could email existing members.  I'm sure they will in due course.  You'd hope so anyway.

However, Ballane, I'm not sure it's an issue worth the head-exploding rants.

Newsflash: Phoenix a bit understaffed, don't get everything 100%.

They're trying though, bless them.

Renewed over the phone. Pretty painless apart from crazy amounts of line noise during the call, it was quite distracting.
