Considering squads and many other factors have not been finalised yet, I think it is far too early to make a prediction.

How is it doubtful? He has paid off his debt and has started signing players, as well as scouting several more. Do you have any facts to back up this statement?

If we're talking facts, Terry hasn't paid off his debt.

Hasn't Century City Football paid off all their debt though? Meaning there is no debt relating to the Phoenix?

We don't know this for a fact - most of the arrears were cleared, and IRD was satisfied that a repayment plan for the rest could be put in place, we don't know if this has been cleared or not at this point.el grapadura2011-06-15 11:23:21

You said Terry, didn't specify any of his companies.

I'd successfully removed that game from my memory.

Until now.

Yep - I'd conveniently forgotten about that one too.

do we know (can we predict) what kit numbers the new boys will wear this season?

Looked like Pantelis had the number 10 in the news article? (will he break the hoodoo on that jersey?)

Anyone know bout Downey? Will he take Disco's lucky 13?

FFA really need to give clubs full control of their own websites, not only being able to update it but change the god damn layout. Every single website is the same...

after seeing the coaching structure paraded out here yesterday in Melbourne i think they will need harry kewell at his best if he is to come, was mentioned that both van egmond and versljian both knocked back the job because it was stipulated that Muscat was to be the assistant, who would want to work with that fool

Be interesting to see where it goes, I hear the A-league isn't really on Harry's radar and it's Mandic selling the brand.

How's my driving? - Whine here

Melbourne Victory's amazingly successful "worldwide search" makes me realise how lucky we are to have Ricki Herbert here in Wellington. To be honest I don't think we need some flash-harry from overseas anyway. In a salary-capped league as long as you keep plugging away eventually you're going to win a championship. Better to have long-term continuity I reckon.

Anyway, that brings me back on topic. I predict that the Phoenix will win the league THIS SEASON. Sounds CRAZY I know, but I can back this up with SCIENCE!

In the history of the A-League the average finishing position of the champions in the season before they win the league is 6th. Where did the Phoenix finish last season? That's right, 6th.

...and now you're gonna believe meeeeeee, we're gonna win the league.
