A few days early and it could have been Boxall Day

At least it's not the 'One Pub of Cruden'

To be fair, "I made a poor decision regarding the limits of my alcohol intake" sounds like it could've come straight out of 12 pubs.

I lean towards 30th November and in AK.  Post Xmas is wrong for an Xmas party.

just going with putting the Welly one back and making it something different as Nov 30 seems crazy early and is a Sunday during work time...(I already have the monday off so not a factor for me :P)

ok so this year is a bit niggly. Our last home game before Christmas in 13 Dec (sat) but it is in Auckland. Game before then is 30 Nov (sunday).Or there is a game on the 28th but it feels weird having a Christmas party after Christmas.

Anyone got any thoughts. Kinda think we could have two this year. One in Wellington on the 30th. One in Auckland on the 13th.

Call it all off.

Brockie scored a goal in the weekend.  Now you have to keep your end of the bargain.

Doubting I would be able to make the Auckland game, I would through my support behind the 30th Nov, rather than after Xmas.

A highlight of the season. Things are pretty Christmassy come the end of November.

Auckland also out for me fwiw. I'd be sad if I missed it.

On the flip side, might get a new audience in Auckland?

I'll be flying in to Auckland early afternoon and going straight to my mate Ian's Japanese restaurant, Taiko, at the Kingsland Railway station for beers and great food before the game. After the game, hooo hah, get in. I'm as mean as custard after the game.

Note: I am not meaning to poo-poo the 12 pubs in Auckland. I am just saying I don't get to go up and see Ian and dine at Taiko much, and I miss it, so I will definitely be doing that instead pre-game.

I am on the 1135am Air New Zealand, so I will probably get in about an hour before you, but if Jetstar runs on time, we should head in from the airport together.

so we going for Nov 30th in Welly? As that would be awesome, it should be the Villa game and even better, my birthday. So would happily take the Monday off to celebrate the 12 pubs in town the night before.
