It's interesting though. People seem prepared to pay a higher price for the flexibility of buying on the day (although guess you always buy online on the day).

yeah I don't get it. You can even buy the tickets on your phone as you're walking up the concourse.

Maybe most people don't know that it's cheaper to buy it online? I expect that'll change over time.

Cheapest is to buy from ticketek outlets.

Online there is like a 6 dollar special fee + the ticket price.

A fan is a fan.

If you go to the ticketing outlets (e.g. Michael Fowler Centre) in advance you used to be able to specify aisle, row and seat numbers and they would check availability.

You can't do this online or on the day outside the stadium.

Still the worst bar graph in the history of bar graphs!

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

Phoenix fans. We have to win them over one fan at a time.

From my emails this morning ...

Today's a pretty exciting day for the Wellington Phoenix!

In a season of records including the first ever hat-trick by a Wellington Phoenix player, most away wins in a season and more goals scored than ever before, the Wellington Phoenix today surpassed 4000 season tickets and Club Memberships for the first time ever! (Scroll down for a member giveaway).

This is great news and hopefully a sign of things to come.  So happy to be a Phoenix fan (even though I do have the tendency to doom and gloom it at times - these are the moments I live for).

ours is the only number that changed.  Oh well, happy days!

Dont you think its stretching it a bit to add some of these small game packages to season membership totals. Dont get me wrong they are a great idea.Just not convinced they should be added to these totals.

Every club does it.

Season passes is a much better measure.

Interesting to hear next seasons memberships being advertised after the game. Any one catch the details?

Good to see that.

They need to be heavily advertising or even selling them in the ground during the last few games of the season imo.

I saw a flyer saying $169, on sale April 16th (Though the loud speaker had said April 13th before game)

Think it was one of the guys on the way in handing them out.

Yeah, but not the one after that I think (yet)

Bit of a panic on Sunday looking for the season passes after over a month not using them. Turns out that my wife had thrown my one out thinking it was last years one, which wasn't the greatest. Managed to pick up a $10 ticket for the game though, and now Brenda is sending me paper tickets for the last three games. Could definitely be worse I guess. I do like keeping my old season passes though. Have all of them (except for this years obviously) hanging around somewhere.
