It's the most wonderful time of the year! It's 12 Pubs of Lochhead time!

Join us as we make our way to the Phoenix game via some of Wellington's finest drinking establishments. There's even a couple to visit after the match.

This year's edition takes place two days before Christmas on the 23rd of December for the game against Sydney FC.

Bring your Christmas spirit with you as we'll have a bucket circulating to raise funds for the continuation of Fever Dreams.

Take a look at this year's itinerary below and join in..

12:00pm Dirty Little Secret
1:00pm Four Kings
1:30pm Mac's Brewbar | Taranaki St Wharf
2:00pm St Johns Bar & Restaurant
2:30pm Munchen
3:30pm Dockside Restaurant Bar NZ
4:00pm Foxglove Bar & Kitchen
4:30pm The Featherston City Tavern
5:00pm The Backbencher Gastropub
7:35pm Wellington Phoenix FC v Sydney FC
9:40pm The Churchill
11:00pm The Green Man Pub
Grand Finale Danger Danger Wellington

Follow the fun using #12PubsofLochhead

Please drink responsibly. It is also highly recommended to have completed your Christmas shopping prior to this event. Shopping on Christmas Eve whilst hungover is the stuff nightmares are made of.

The game is listed so it looks as if there are 13 and, no doubt one or two might have a drink there, although if you want to keep going to the end, having a 90 minute break is quite good

I'm glad I'll be drinking at this, may still make the game in that case.

Just to remind people, #12PubsofLochhead is also a fundraiser to keep Fever Dreams going, so if you'll see me there with a bucket collecting, please donate to this great cause that makes a huge difference to families at Ronald McDonald House Wellington.

Might be handy to have a couple of extra buckets lying around for other reasons.

Later it was revealed Matt was donated 6 pints of lager, 4 pints of draught and various assorted spirits in his bucket!

Want to spread some Christmas cheers? Funds for Fever Dreams are getting low, so it has become urgent to get at least a bit more so we can see out the season if not continue it for years to come. So along with using 12 Pubs as a fundraiser, we have started another Give a Little page. If you can't make 12 pubs or rather not give cash on the day, you can now donate online.

You have seen what a difference this makes to families at Ronald McDonald House and I'd love to see it continue. Every little bit helps

Saw Dario ended up turning up to the pubs, any interesting conversations that anyone feels comfortable sharing?

The funny thing about this was he literally bought the captains armband with him, and did a big grand reveal of it.

Boxey wasn't there so there was no Dale v Boxey match. Instead Tracey whipped Patrick's arse! (In the game, not literally)
