The walk is going to be earlier than expected. It's been rescheduled - turns out Breakfast wants to film me getting painted! They're gonna start at 6:45 and switch back over to see my progress every half an hour.

...oh no, I just agreed to be topless on national television...

They haven't mentioned shaving, but considering tommorows forecast I hope not!

Me and Feverette kept an eye on the telly but had to a) leave for work and b) turn over to Disney channel to stop the 3 year old doing our heads in before seeing anything.

Any pics around?

Im not a complete idiot, some parts are missing!

Oh man, I had such a blast! ZM was awesome, the body painters were awesome, TVNZ were awesome. I'll upload pics shortly and the videos are on TVNZ.co.nz - I've yet to see them though.

Sean (sp?) surprised me a bit with the first segment, he told me he was only asking one question (how passionate I was), reassuring me after I mentioned how I froze for an American radio host last year (Galaxy visit). So he asked the one question, I answered confidenty, then he asked me more! Haha. Then more painting, then the second segment, then finito.

Exited the studio building at the Lambton Quay entrance then walked up, with me carrying a prototype cutout of Andrew Durante. It's was colder than hell after a Perth Glory victory! Got tonnes of looks, naturally. Went to RYOS to (hopefully) give them some promotion, went to SonyStyle for the same reason, then off to Phoenix HQ! Met the staff there, got my photo with Tony and Terry, and dropped off the cutout. Then off to make cameos at the club store and Champs - before back home to several showers that, unfortunately, haven't removed all the paint just yet!

Throughout all of this I got tonnes of wierd looks, and smiles from those who got a "G'day" or "Hezza gaan?" from me. Had a few car-borne supporters which made things great, and a dodgy businessmen hitting on one of the women from ZM escorting me!

I can't stress enough how great everyone involved was, I had the time of my life and it totally offest any shame that may have been involved (says the guy who's already walked down Lambton in a dolphin suit and Wakefield in a chicken suit!)

I just got covered in tomato sauce and mustard, and swum out to the fountain in Oriental Bay and back.

I am a rubbish swimmer so it's fortunate Ben was there too!

(now suffering from mild hypothermia ... this prize had better be worth it all ;-)

2ndBest - Haha cheers! Glad to be a Diamond, even if I've still yet to pull on the orange and blue myself! That's the prototype - our version won't have any white edges.

football_mum -  Consider yourself lucky - I suggested I wait outside while the ZM girls went in pretending to be there for your tattoo, only for me to come in after they admitted it was a hoax haha. Luckily Sam and Scott were willing to play along after we left.

Frankie Mac - The full gallery has me looking camper than a row of tents . Hence why I only uploaded the good ones - using the term "good" lightly of course!

Bevan - great stuff mate!
