Wellington Phoenix FC and ZM are running a �24/7 with the Phoenix XI� competition - a chance for 11 lucky people to meet Phoenix players, get involved in some outrageous tasks and be in to win some fantastic prizes! For one week beginning at the Stadium Open Day on August 10, these 11 contestants will carry life size cut outs of 11 Phoenix players - 24 hours a day for seven days! Each day there will be tasks to be completed which will earn points - plus points will be earned for �special� tasks completed. This will all be broadcast on ZM throughout the week of the competition - during the Morning Crew, lunch time and drive shows. At the end of the week, points will be added, and the winner will be announced at the first game of the season versus Queensland Roar.
The winner gets a trip for two to Melbourne to watch the Victory play the Phoenix on January 23 including two nights accommodation care of Qantas, a Vaio notebook, an Xplod car audio system, Playstation 3, a one year Les Mills membership, a Four Kings $500 bar tab, an Interislander family and car pass, and a Wellington Beds linen pack.
What�s more, ALL 11 finalists will get a Sony Cybershot camera to record their �tasks� on, a $50 Four Kings bar tab, and Les Mills one month membership, a Wellington Beds/Phoenix football and an Interislander lounge upgrade pass.

As much as it sounds rather amusing, and I'm sure it will be fun, I'll be in Auckland for the second half of the competition week, and even if I did enter and win, I wouldn't be able to make the game in Melbourne as I'll be in Japan at that time. Gutted.

as an idea it doesn't entice me but, CL, i'm not worried by that
its brilliant publicity for the Nix 
good on ZM !!
they might even push the ZB network and TV 3 for Nix friendly broadcaster of the year - if they follow this up as the season goes on
(they got a bit of catching up to do - but it's brilliant for the club in my view that they are getting behind the NIX)
