I think it will sell out. There is still two weeks to go till this game.

I'm not particularly convinced that we'll sell out. We got 24k last night for a playoff game, I'm not convinced we'll get an extra 10k for another playoff game. On the plus side though, the two week gap and extra media exposure should help.

There had better be wall to wall hype from all broadcast networks and printed press in NZ - it's the largest, most important game a NZ domestic football team has ever faced.

(Well I'd rate it higher that a OCL final, or a World Club Championship game)

Everyone who was there yesterday will go again, surely. We just need to convince the general public that buying tickets on the day at the stadium is a bad idea.

Everyone I know who went yesterday for the first time plan to come next Sunday, and are bringing their friends.  If they do so, and they're a good representation of newbies, hitting 24k should be an easily achievable target.

Interesting switch in tactics from Tony P, first game they were understating it so people wouldn't get their hopes up, but now that they've seen they can get 24k to a playoff game they're going the All Whites route predicting sellouts to force peoples' hands and generate a buzz.  If people believe tickets will sell like wildfire they may get inspired to go and get tickets as soon as possible.

I like it.  Not sure we'll sell out, but seems the right kind of way to generate a different kind of hype.

Anyone got a link to the Tony P interview or can mention what time it was so I can find it in week on demand?

I'm Aisle 22 Row P this week. Pax 2300.

I think if we beat last week it will be a huge effort. For most it was the one off football game- but hopefully most come back for more!

That's what I said as well.  Never been happier to be wrong.  I also couldn't be arsed (forgot) to take Reddy into the equation when I said it.

My pick is 29 693 for this game.  Though with two weeks to go I'd love it to break the All Whites record.  Maybe FFA chuck in some extra seating if it sells so well.
