You definitely should join. There's some superb banter all the time.

It's also really good for connecting with fans at other clubs. I "met" people I then met face to face in Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth via Twitter. I know Patrick met up with people he knew from Twitter in Brisbane, Sydney and (possibly) Newcastle and Gosford too.
