Hi everyone,

For those of you interested, I'm now on twitter and will be tweeting about all things football ... and anything else that's vaguely interesting.

My username is the same as on here, Gourdietv3, so look me up!

Cheers

But do you have anything interesting to say?

By the way there are a few musts on Twitter atm - @chasmilleresq is a hilarious parody of Charlie Miller.  Fake Ben Buckley and Fake Graham Arnold aren't bad either.  Fake Coach Miron is more comedy genius.

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

Good call made by Ricki on twitter: "Had a good giggle at a guy running 20m to retrieve paper he dropped outside. Reminded me of Ferrante running 20m to retrieve his 1st touch."

I don't see the point in Twitter other than stalking people.

Three for me, and two for them.

Twitter is really a sanction form of spam.

Facebook is really a sanction form of stalking.

A huge difference, get your facts right boys.

Twitter is easy to stalk because you can follow someone without their approval. Facebook is definetly not that way,its more for keeping in touch with friends etc.

Both have privacy controls, so neither is worse than the other. You can easily set a Twitter account to only allow approved people access to your updates. If anything Facebook is easier for stalkers because both have the same level of access, but Facebook is likely to have more information.

That being said, I much prefer Facebook. I only really use my personal account to get scoring updates for my ice hockey team.

Hence why I used the word "Sanction" as in freely allowing people to get spam notices from twitter on their cellphones and freely allowing people to stalking social details on facebook because of the privy controls.

Sanction as in allowing details to the public by the user.

The club is starting an official Twitter feed

Had a meeting with the Nix marketing manager today where I was given the news. I offered them control of my account but they've encouraged me to continue. Being told I do a great job by a representative of the club is one hell of a compliment IMHO so I agreed.

However to avoid confusion, I've agreed to surrender the wgtnphoenixfc username to them. I'll still be operating the same way (links, match updates etc), although I'll be a bit more casual as I no longer need to worry about being misinterpreted as a club representative.

Hence:

www.twitter.com/windrainphoenix -
Unofficial account run by me.
www.twitter.com/wgtnphoenixfc - Official account to be run by the club in the near future (currently an account created by me, but the club has the login details and will take it over)

Anyone currently following me will need to add wgtnphoenixfc as well - the name change means you're currently updated to follow windrainphoenix instead.
