Commentators make a fair point regarding how is may be common place in South America, yet something despised here. Interesting to see discussion on whether he should be allowed to be cited or not. Be a tough thing to police (ie what is diving, what is not etc), and that would be where that idea would fall down. But that dive was Rivaldoesque.

What surprises me somewhat is that it took him so long to pull the yellow. He had 2 flair ups in the first 10 mins. Talk about losing control. Cornthwaite and Allsopp are dead ringers to get more yellows

Yeah given- Allsopps hit on Dodd was pretty bad. Think Dodd showed perfectly how forwards can tackle, then Allsopp just thumps him from behind. Cornflakes just all arms and legs. Just his usual self.

Corthwaite is a cunning bastard. More behind the eyes going on than he lets you onto. Same to be said for Allsopp. At least Muscat just comes out and plain hits the f**k out of you.

Exactly what I said (re: Rivaldo). Funnily enough Rivaldo was on the same pitch against Cristiano a couple of weeks ago doing the same thing. Maybe he gave Cristiano some diving tips?
