Oh well.
There is some good news.
I dont have to dig into my pocket for $60 plus extras for the two home games this week, as I already have a season ticket.

I am actually worried about the crowd for the next home games - I think we are going to get close to finding out our core support.

I can tell you the group I go with is starting to thin out - the Nix are bloody painful to watch at the moment and are starting to test loyalties.

The core will see the tough times through but those who want to be entertained will drop off.

He dribbles a lot and the opposition dont like it - you can see it all over their faces. (Ron Atkinson)

Here's a little question...

If we were what Brisbane are - hot football, top of the league - what would our crowds be like?

Probably closer to 10,000 and breaking even

It's not just that we're losing - it's how we're losing. Completely insipid, uninspired performances even when we go a goal down (shown by the fact we haven't come back all year)

I'm sure we'll bounce back eventually but if it takes any longer we might find ourselves with 2-3,000 crowds regularly.valeo2010-11-21 00:03:56

Next two games will be interesting, definitely going to both. No expectations, just want to support the boys through some hard times.

We will never fully decide who has won the football.

Yes you are right. We should all be really optimistic. 15 points from a possible 45 is absolutely wonderful. Keep it up guys!!

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

The worst thing is we probably have the worst, or one of the worst, styles of football in the league.

And I really don't think this angst is needless. I think we are definitely at the stage where it is, in fact, warranted.

the same

5,000 -6,500 is our core support, i reckon that must be the average and while we get on occasion a good deal more, i think that is all we'll really ever get to home games 5 - 6,500 people though Wednesday nights will  be less i reckon people aren't used to going out to mid week football just yet school night and all that for the kids (imo)
