How stupid is the cup-tie crap. So Stevey and Lucas get their whole preseason kneecapped because they don't have a better way of organising those playoffs than right at the end of the season? Absurd bullsh*t. 

The cup should begin at Round of 64 and include every A-League team. 

Exactly I understand the cup tie rule for like a January transfer window but makes no sense when it counts from a previous season. Either they don’t count that to the cup tie rule or organize the games not during the previous season. Classic FFA mess. 

It is a side effect of the amateur and professional seasons in Australia not being aligned. The Cup starts well before the A-League season finishes.

About the strongest lineup we could have named given injuries  and unavailability. Keen to see what Kraev offers. Reckon he'll get half an hour off the bench.

Hopefully some of the younger lads on the bench get a chance to show their wares too.

Joshua Laws would probably drop back for Sutts if needed.

Possibly Marco Lorenz at a stretch? Although I think he plays more down the right hand side.

That would've been a great goal. Great raking pass down that left hand flank. Waine just couldn't get enough on it it trouble the keeper. 

He's looking really up for this one early on too.
