Dumb question.   If we win all our games do we win the Australian cup?

I know there is some weirdness as we got involved for just the preseason experience and we cant go to the Club World Cup if we win, but do we still win the Cup itself?

Yeah we can win the cup, just can't qualify for Asia

We're definitely playing much better than last week but I'm a little worried about what we've got up front. Supyk and GSR in particular don't seem to have the trickery and pace to get past their defense 

Ishige is so wasteful under no pressure. Such a waste of a visa spot.

Heidelberg’s quite the dirty side, and the poor refereeing’s not helping at all, but these guys are playing like they’re made of glass

I'm not convinced any of these Phoenix players would make the starting XI for Heidelberg.

 That's a touch negative.   Hughes is the only goal scorer so far tonight.

exactly the move that prompted my comment. absolutely no finesse to anything (except that sick little overhead flick Ishige just did)

Should be at least 3 more yellow cards for them but this ref for some reason hesitant to give them out to them but not us

Too early for him to decide that, just looks off the pace.

Disappointed we're trailing as we haven't been so bad, given the opposition we're facing.
Really impressed with Loke and Josh (shot stopping, not kicking) and to a degree Nagasawa. GSR, Supyk total passengers in the first 45. Payne and Ishige have the goods but have made too many mistakes.
Looking forward to some subs, hopefully we can get a goal back and go from there 

Payne looks class albeit a bit rusty, we’re playing okay for the first two thirds but really missing a striker or playmaker here 

The constant long balls and crosses into the box to no one is definitely a complete tactical failure. 

Supyk hasn't offered any threat in the box really - I expect Eze will be subbed on at half time

Think we need to sub on Rufer, Eze, LBS, and Armiento despite their fitness and throw everything at Heidelberg out the gate to get back in it and change the momentum. 

Put LKH as CB so Payne and Armiento can play wingback and just try to keep the ball in their half.

I think Rufer will be managed and only get 30 mins. But should definitely do the other 3 subs or at least 2 of them one being Eze

Supyk made some nice runs early, bit of toe. Also has tried to play as a target at times, but we can't hit feet when going long.

Some nice rotations in the defensive end and center of the pitch but nothing up top.

Both jap imports way too wasteful with the ball. Neither them or Conchie playing high enough to help link play. 

LKH afraid to attack it seems, always tracks back with ball. Better physically tonight though.

Looked ok for a while then got scared of playing football.

Bench will improve things thankfully.

Better than expected, but again toothless in attack no imagination or flair to create anything meaningful.

The ref with the 1970's Porn Star Moustache doesn't want too give any yellows. They've deserved 3 or 4. Not just our guys.

They are 30+ games into the season at this point. Full time jobs or not they have good, experienced players and are very well drilled. Fudge me I thought things were turning around for the first 20 minutes, then it went back to the same old sharke. Hope the subs turn it around.

This team is just being bullied at the moment.

Without Piper and Rufer, it all looks very soft and Tim Payne looks like he doesn’t want to be there.

I also wish Chief would just bitch slap the lanky lamp post before the game and make him angry as he has the talent to be a decent player but in his case literally not the attitude.

Don't think he is bad (more their CB doing well), but we need impact and he doesn't seem to give that whereas LBS and Eze could
