Didn't we (Knights) lose 4 or 5 nil to Melbourne at Olympic Park as well? I was at that game but can't remember exact score. I remember that we played pretty decent considering Ricki was filling in as interim coach and heaps of our players weren't even there. It was the game that Melbourne sealed the Premiership

The worst one i remember from the Kingz/Knights era was our 4-1 loss to Perth away in the 2nd season. We were so bad i think it was our 9th or 10th loss in a row and i just remember going into my room after the game and looking at all my old Kingz memorabilia (programmes, fanzines etc.) and just about burst into tears.
Thanks for digging up old wounds OOE.

I 'followed' the Kingz/Knights in so much as if I could I would watch them but I have so much respect for you guys who sat through that stuff for so long, especially the Knights. Must have been so immensely demoralising

Same here. I followed them but not exactly passionately. The Kingz first 2 season were good - Wynton Rufer made some odd tactical decisions but damn he was still a good player.

"All" teams have mares.....Boro lost 0-5 to Chelsea and then went on to get points home and away immediately after. Last year or year previous lost 7-0 to Arsenal and beat other top 3 sides easily.
Football is often the top 5% and once it goes wrong it can go very wrong...heads drop etc or one team is just on fire on the day.
Whilst 1-6 is a big number it has same effect as 0-1 so the team will move on as all teams do.
Worry if it happens week in week out.
A small town in Europe........looking to bounce straight back up....well that aint going to happen

Funnily enough, through all the sh*t on the the field i still had a great time supporting them through the years.
