Steven Laybutt for sure. Just for being the worst player ever to grace the A-league.

Hopefully Smeltz, but probably Griffiths.

Smeltz won't win - but if all was fair he should have a decent shout.  Playing in one of the weakest sides he's consistently done a good job...  There were several occasions last night that we commented on him being 'too good for the A-League' - just for his ability to hold the ball up and keep running even with a near total lack of service from midfield.

My vote for the most influential player would go to Nick Ward.  He's only been at Victory for a couple of games and he's totally changed the way they are playing.  They've finally got a midfielder who can do the box-to-box job Fred did for them last season, it makes an enormous difference.  They'll do well in the ACL with him in the side and Hernandes free to let loose.

Glen Moss! If only life was fair he would get it, but they'd never give it to a goal keeper, let alone one playing for the Phoenix.
