Apparently prices have gone up...I will investigate. We certainly haven't raised our prices to our retailers.

Finally got my Nix Strip (had to claim it as a Xmas present with the missus to justify why its more important than the kids shoes) from the RYOS shop at North City and service was excellent!

You need a Yellow Fever Fevercard.

We don't do them any more so you have to have had one from back in the bad old days.

Or if you ask nicely they'll probably look after you.

Call me a whinger but why is every shirt $35?  There's no way half of them are worth that much.  I'm prepared to spend that on a retro-ricki and an all white on the night shirt, but none of the others (and I'm prepared to bet that others are in the same boat.

I'm pretty sure you aren't prepared to pay the rent on Lambton Quay then

Certainly not.  But I figure more people would be inclined to pay for them if they were cheaper.

Yeah i see your point. retro riki being the premium shirt, and others being secondary. Id tend to think of it as people generally only buying one YF shirt,so if theyre all $35 people can pick their fav and go with that. People who REALLY want a particular shirt, would be keen to pay the $35 for it.

when you do special release ones like Big Bad (which I am a massive fan of) and SL then you pay for set-ups, design, as well as extra for small print runs.

Better than paying $50 for a band t-shirt that thin as cotton and been made in China that shrinks as soon as you wash it. The YF ones are quality. Still waiting for it to pop up on Ryos though

So, ummm, don't.

Hundreds of people have, and we've yet to have any (not a single one) complaints.

We try hard to keep the price reasonable.  If we were making the same margin as normal t shirt makers then they would be $50.  Fact.

And, of course, it's always worth remembering that every penny of profit we make off the t shirts goes into fun Fever stuff.  None of the many people involved in running YF get any sort of payment, the money all goes back where it came from - to you.

Excluding generic bar tabs at end of year functions. But we all benefit from that.

$35 is cheap for a t-shirt. I have a mortgage and a 2 year old and still find $35 for a few YF t's. My t-shirt draw is full of them. Hell, its only 5 pints.

Its no longer a problem.

I'm a student and find that its a great price and I would even pay more if I had to. Love the shirts.

Also YF doesn't charge membership fees like some other supporters clubs do. I buy a shirt every year and consider that my subscription - even if I don't like the designs available (2007 and 2009...I didn't like the Retro Ricki design at first but it's grown on me, let's see if BBG does too) or if there are only women's size available (2008 - I swear I thought it was a Men's medium!)

Suppose it's alright seeing as money goes into other yellowfever activities.

Regardless, I've overcome my problem.  The only clothes I buy are football related ones, and then I hope that parents will offer a bit of money when they get sick of me wearing the same junk over and over again.  It often works and fortunately this is the case again as the mother just popped her head round the door saying that she'll grab me a few shirts and some jeans if I get rid of some of the old, full of holes, theadbare crap.  So I can now grab a Fallon top if there's still a few left and not tap into my South Africa savings.  Win.
