Players I think are going to have great years...
Hysegems - will thrive under Merricks style and getting good service to his feet and not his head.
Rufer - will get time of the bench and prove to be a quality player in the making.
Watson - will pick up a contract and get valuable game time. Will prove to be a strong and mobile CF witha good one touch passing game.
Fenton - will prove to be adept at RB and will improve at getting his head up.
Boxall - to becomce the prefered CB with Durante.
I like the look of the Rufer boy. I hope he gets to come in when the time is right and just play. He is surrounded by some good talent to learn off and I hope it goes well for him. His body needs some work as he is a tall skinny lad and he has to adjust to the pace of the game but I do think he has a good base to grow from.
I think Boxall will grow a little by default. His age, combined with the age of both Dura and Sigmund means at some point, there needs to be a transition.
I've not seen Fenton at RB or the new Watson to comment objectively.
I think Stein will be very good.

I'm gonna put it out there and say I reckon Caira will have a better season than Louis, but still get given more crap.
I'm looking forward to the combination of Paul and Carlos once they get it together.

This. We've probably seen 6 or 7 threatening free kicks over the course of our existance. Carlos will do that in half a season.
Haven't been as hyped for a season this much since Season 1. I really think we've cleared out most of the dead wood - finally - and have a really solid squad (that could still be improved - full-back positions and DM most notably) with a bunch of promising young Kiwis coming through to top it off.

That will make a nice change from free kicks directly hitting opposition players in the arse. Hernandez should take ALL of our free kicks. He might be chubby but he does have the skill as he unfortunately proved time and time again against us!
