Can't make the Quiz night fundraiser as you are at a Wedding, doing sound for a concert or don't live in Wellington? Well now you can still contribute to this years Fever Dreams through a new Give a Little page: https://givealittle.co.nz/cause/feverdreams/

All money raised will go towards Fever Dreams and giving families from Ronald McDonald House a VIP day out to see the Wellington Phoenix!

Please don't worry about this error if you go to donate, the page has been moderated by Give a Little and been given the ok. But to pass the next bit we require three donations.

I will donate the $264 left over from the Send Matt to the FFDU Fan of the Year awards appeal, plus some more cash from me, just as soon as the bank get me my new credit card.

I rung up to get a new one sent because my current one is a bit temperamental - swipe, insert, swipe again, insert again, GRRRRR, Swipe...

And the person I spoke to said "Okay that's all done. You new card should arrive in 5 days. Oh, and btw, your current card doesn't work anymore now."

WHAT!?

Of course, it all goes into the kitty to cover the families through out the year.

Yes mate, it doesn't matter when you donate. A dollar in the kitty is a dollar in the kitty.

We can't spend it all at the start of the season anyway.

Thank you to the people who have donated, we have now passed moderation as well.

I have spoken with Ronald McDonald House as they have a new person in the role from the one I dealt with last year so just had a catch up with him to let him know what it was all about etc. Coops, I passed on the name of that family you suggested to be the first one to attend this season so we will see. Either way we will have a family attending each home game again.

I have the season tickets (Individual tickets for each game) and lounge passes. Just paid for the scarfs, so will be picking those up, which just leaves the car park and food vouchers to organise. Then I will drop everything off to RMH next week in time for the first game.

So the quiz was a massive success, really pleased with that. Just one more thing to go now and that is the Exodus Gym membership kindly donated by Adam Ryan and Exodus.

If you can please share this on your social media to let people know. https://trademe.co.nz/959997813

Is there someone who is travelling to the game in Auckland able to help out with possible family at that game?

I won't be travelling up this year and will need to arrange for family to get the tickets, scarfs etc.

I'm about to contact the Auckland Ronald McDonald but wanted to check first.

So have visited Ronald McDonald House today, they have a family lined up for Sunday. Coops, it maybe the family you suggest, their son is staying at the House before his surgery so they are a maybe. Otherwise they do have a couple of families as alternatives through.

Meet the new guy Anthony and he is really happy with this and keen to do their bit with finding families. He was already thinking about checking with the families for feedback and photos after the game. Said to him we all love when families do that and told him about Micah from last year as he was one of my favourites.

Got a good article on the Fox Sports Football page in Australia with links to our give a little.

Also got the @FOXFOOTBALL account tweeting it, so that was cool.

This is what your continuing support does, so thank you. (Matt)

The family had an absolutely amazing time and they asked me to pass on their appreciation to you! Nevaeh (the older girl) is an absolute soccer fanatic and was in her element!

Thank you so much for doing everything you do for our families and please pass on my thanks to the other Yellow Fever members. You are offering our families a welcome distraction and the passes are a perfect way to escape the world of medicine and uncertainty and enjoy some time as a family.

So thanks to Smithy, I have the following gear that I will be selling off to raise funds for Fever Dreams. I have already put the Melbourne shirt up on ebay in Australia as thought that might sell better there. http://t.co/M1MhBrBjG3
