Bling are offering 2 for 1 tickets to their next game for fans who
reproduce a LA Galaxy ticket.

Is this something that we should be looking at doing, or the 2 for 1 deal with the Adelaide game the equivalent (although that didnt go smoothly as a lot were unaware of the Adelaide game)?

I don't think that people weren't aware of the Adelaide match
I think they generally were not fussed about anything else but
seeing one person...

Perhaps this might have been a better option. Getting joe bloggs who isnt really into his football to commit him and his family to two days on the trot, before he has been bitten by Yellow Fever is perhaps a big ask, although the crowd was up 7000.
The proof will be in the pudding on Friday if we can bring them back. I hope so. Terry and the rest of the workers deserve every break they get.

I just hope that around 12k or so turn up at Westpac. The last
crowd numbers (the game v Sydney) were a tad disappointing. Think
it was below 10k?

I am not going to the game this Friday, it clashes with a gig that I am really looking forward to but will try and catch the first half on the telly somewhere beforehand.
I feel so flakey, maybe I just buy tickets and give them away

Prior to Adelaide we had averaged about 11,300 for 6 games then
18,300 bringing the average up 1000. Sydney was a poor gate 8000
odd, but if we can continue to hold the average at 12,000, and I
think that is achievable, I would think Tony P would be well
pleased given that his preseason statements mentioned average
attendance estimates as 10,000.
(Personally, at the time I thought), good on you mate, I
hope we do it. Yee of little
faith!!
Actually, 13 - 14, 000 would take us past the 100,000 mark for
8 games.

I reckon Jan 4th v sydney might be a good opportunity for two for
one deal, as quite few folks will be out of town (not us, delayed
hol this year!!) and such a deal should help raise the numbers
maybe the deal could be for season ticket holders - because that way they would still come along (having paid for their seat) - and hopefully the person they bring would be a new fan,
if it were an open two-for-one it would be more likely that one family member who paid would bring one who didn't pay (and if that second person usually comes to the game - we would be no better off in terms of gate numbers)
hope that makes some sense, I'm just after an option that brings new fans to the ground - rather than gives the equivalent of a half price game to existing fans

Haha at the adelaide game, when i went to the booth and showed my
galaxy ticket, they gave me one without putting some sort of mark
on my galaxy ticket. I thought great....I could have gone up to
several booths and got several tickets!
Then i saw some guy who had 6 tickets and selling them at the
gate for $10 each.
Allegedly
