Cat protest demo at the match on Sunday

Vickmeist had an idea of taking a toy cat to the match in protest of Morgan's proposed Genocide of our Moggy chums.

Who's in?

chants: (to the chant of feed the goat and he will score)

LEAVE OUR CATS!

LEAVE OUR CATS!

MOOORGANNNN LEAVE OUR CATS ALONE!!

MORGAN LEAVE OUR CATS ALONE!!!

OR EVEN SIMILAR TO "Brick in the wall'

HEY MORGAN LEAVE THOSE CATS ALONE!!

Any more ideas to protect our kittehs?

I'm  behind the team I actually thought it would be light-hearted and actually take folks mind of the team and the crappy atmosphere at the moment.  Funny stuff with funny chants - like stuff we used to do.

When Garath is talking about Moggy bashing I don't agree with him but I'm behind him as part of the club.

Feed the Cat

Feed the Cat

Feed the Cat and he will Purr

Somebody should create a Facebook page 'Cat protest at Wellington Phoenix game this weekend - your chance to be seen on TV dressed as a cat' or some such shit

Could be worth a few more people through the gate

"Yeah, we lost 7 -1! Total cat-astrophe"

"Wind. Rain. Felines"

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

Forest and bird supporters on one side of the stadium with nutty cat protection league people on the other ,Marley 's going to have his work cut out at this game !

The answer to life's problems are rarely found at the bottom of a beer glass - but it's always worth a look.

You're on your own there FT.

P.Igeon's been our best player this season. No way I'm letting a cat out amongst the action.

Ditto. I think we should try to keep the owners as far from ours and the player thoughts as possible during the game.

Also I don't believe the response is proportional to the "threat" to cats. I also believe Morgan is partially right on this one. At least with regards to compulsory neutering (unless you are a breeder").

Out of interest are there cat registrations? Doesn't seem to be...

Anything is fair game.  Just as long as Gazza doesn't start on the gerbils (they are very useful and known as man's other best friend).

Simple matter of a mistake with timing,Gareth thought he was doing the good thing in trying to get Black Caps made extinct.Sadly with 2 one day wins he had to quickly make a change in focus.

No, the team needs us supporting them. Really hope this crap doesn't distract people from the need to support the team for the full 90 mins this weekend.

The stadium actually has resident feral cats for 'pigeon control'. The P.Igeon is smarter than the rest though.

Fuck this stupid game

I've never said I'm not going to support the team, I always will support my team.  Gareth's comments today have tarnished my comeback for this weekend for sure. I've missed a fair few matches this season through the impact of life, but then again I've been here since day one and did'nt miss a home match for the first 3 seasons or so, so I think I deserve a bit of slack.

My idea was a fun protest towards Gareth not in anyway shape of form a forum to have a go at the team or Ricki. I'm Phoenix till I die.

Miind you I've never felt so disconnected from the club even through  the dark days of Terry's reign ending. He would not have ever publically said this stuff about the fans as Gareth has.

Jeez anyway this should be on the other thread.

If your protest is against Gareth on this completely unrelated Nix matter, he has an office on Featherston St. Suggest you protest there. The Nix do not need this now

Me too (manly hug without any trace of homo-eroticism).

Terry was the smiling benefactor who left the talking to the football experts.

Gareth is the economist who is keen to understand how things work and what can be done to make things better.  He is a boffin at heart, boffins experiment.  Owners that take an interest in their business and employees are good.  Owners that start to intrude on the management of their business (as opposed to the professionals employed to manage) can be counter-productive.

true

plus another one of the furry f*rkers has been digging and crapping in the garden again

nothing worse than weedeating up a face full of hidden in the longer grass cat sh*t

with a puriri tree and pohutakawas full of tuis and wood pigeons I am not cat happy

but Gareth's really taking on a whole lot of furry love here
