Like I said, I'll be stoked with 12-15.  Our form is patchy, it's a Friday night, the FFA have done f**k-all to let people know it's on and a desperately short timeframe.

How's my driving? - Whine here

All the people moaning about the game being on a Friday (justifiably for most of you I might add) need to focus their attention on the Perth v Heart game, because with an upset there they might still have a chance at seeing the Nix again this season!

The club are putting themselves in an interesting position (as they did last week) trumpetting an expected 20k crowd (apparently they just did on Twitter).

You end up looking pretty daft if you miss it and really daft if you miss it by the amount you did last week. Yeah, 2 or 3 thousand may have something to do with the Basin, I was one of those that decided to stay at the Basin, but to be saying on Wednesday/Thursday that tickets were tracking for 20k and to only get 10 was not a good look.

Agree with HN  ,13,000 sounds about right to me  ,we have been patchy at best recently and  add to this  the Hurricanes playing  on Saturday in what is  arguably and somewhat surprisingly   looking like a more attractive" sporting event"(a lot of people just want to be at an" event" ,lights ,crowd etc,I don't get it but there you go!)
Along with the   general football fatigue that seems to be in the air just now,the weather possibly ,kick off time , expensive tickets and limited marketing,  I'm not expecting anything like 20,000(happy to be completely wrong though)

We are judging ourselves by our own incredibly high standards but let's be realistic here.

The attendances for the finals series last season (excl. the grand final) were:

3 v 6 ADL v WPX 10,285
4 v 5 GCU v VIC 3,281
1 v 2 CCM v BRI 10,166
2 v 1 BRI v CCM 25,168
Minor Semi ADL v GCU 15,028

A crowd of 12-15k on a Friday night would look very respectable against that lot.

I reckon for next season we sort the muppets in the food stalls out.

We collect a bunch of money up, and send two blokes in at the 20 minute mark of the first half to order 200 cartons of chips. And plonk down a grand on the counter top.

Then we collect them and give them to people out in the concourse.

Force to knobs to be ready.

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

We go in at kick off, and say "At the 20 minute mark I am coming in to order 200 cartons of chips, be ready."

They might stuff it up the first time, but the second game they'd know we were serious.

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.
