The Nix are diehard? Sure I love the club and all, but won't be taking on the Green Street Elite any time soon!

You won't be at all, they don't exist.

Correct. I think you will find Hellobeaver that the GSE are just from the movie Green St Hooligans

In relation to all the posts in regards to Parade of Clubs and John West.

I do accept ideas, and that's all they are ideas, to be shot down in flames, or be given the thumbs up. However when insults become personel, i for one will not sit back and have people call me twunt, idiot or to tell me to f*ck off. I will give as good as it gets.

With regards to John WEst i did say in my idea that the club could be up for the cost, as i am well aware that YF are not flush with cash, and what little they do have is used in a fantastic manner, and long may that continue.

To the moderators of these forums i appologise if at any time i over stepped the boundaries of what is or is not acceptable use of these forums. I will keep on visiting the forums, and express my opinions, and fully expect these to be agreed upon, or shot down in flames, i also accept that there will be friendly banter, and the odd ribing that goes on in forum discussions as well, but let's all keep personel insults out of this.

Lastly to the Jags fans that think i may be carrying a grudge for what you did to Peterhead 2 seasons ago, of course i do, and if i see your top out and about in Welly i will get a lighter and watch that flee biten top go up in flames (only joking). I do believe that for 89 minutes the Heid were the better team, it was just the difference in fitness that so the Jags finish the stronger and then take the match out in the end.

Last night at the Cup Final they showed this fella several times. His name is John Portsmouth Westwood. He had his name legally changed by deed poll to have the "Portsmouth" as his middle name.
Proud to have attended the first 175 Consecutive "Home" Wellington Phoenix "A League" Games !!

I still don't understand in anyway the logic behind it ?  Surely our aim is to develop a culture that is about supporting the Phoenix, developing a culture that is ours alone.  An action like that would surely alienate more people than it would appeal to, imagine a Southampton fan, or one of the many non-English supporters in the fan base ?  In fact many of the Portsmouth fans I know think he is a self-aggrandising tosspot (Westwood, not Bonzo).

If the club are paying flights for someone from the UK to come out, they should be paying them for a player to come and trial (Spanish Right Back Luis Castro Sito is looking for a club for instance), not to import someone elses fan culture.

Sure many of the chants used will be based on English ones, because it's the language we speak and the football we are bombarded with day in and day out (the Phoenix Poi-E is a must this season), but to me it's important that we make the Phoenix a New Zealand football experience rather than trying to make our own little piece of England.

Yeah it said on the BBC website his full name was John Anthony Portsmouth Football Club Westwood.

Mental case. Nuff said.

Three for me, and two for them.

I can see some merit in the Team parade idea but only if it's agreed non-paraders can throw things at the ones wearing tops we don't like.
