Positive place to discuss football 

Amusingly my last post in there was a negative one haha. 

Well, I'd be positive about us signing a shiny new striker for one thing. 

I guess it's not just the negativity, probably just as much the repetitiveness. Each week, same shit.

I do enjoy reading some members' posts but it's a bit of chore trying to find them sometimes.

 Its bloody hard to be positive when there hasnt been an awful lot to be positive about,Being positive just for the sake of it would probably end up being as sickening as all the negativity.Dont care how negative things get still wont stop me turning up and supporting them.

Like I said be negative all you want I'm just not coming on here to read it.

You have to take the negatives to appreciate the positives.

This is actually really true. All positive is really boring. Impossible to be euphoric over a win if you don't care about a loss.

No, it's about how stupid ricki and welnix Re for signing a striker instead of that amazing midfielder we had lined up. Clearly.

5'9 Striker - that won't fit in with Ricki's long ball plan - you know, the game pattern we never play. Nor will it fit in with Paston's insistance on hoofing any ball given to him rather than passing it out to a defender.

Guess that means Pantelis is off the books now.

Which would imply someone is an injury replacement for him and we have 1 spot free

Gamiero has been quoted as saying he hopes his stay at the Nix is a short one.....refreshingly honest for a youngster. He's only 20, been on the books at Fulham, had a taste of European football(admitted only Div 2 in Holland) so he will see us as only a filler to get game time before he moves on to higher things. Bit of a double edge sword....if he is crap for us he probably will reduce his chances of getting picked up elsewhere but we won't want him. If he is a gun then we will want him and chances are so will other clubs. Hopefully he can bang in a few goals for us and help move us up the ladder.

Has potential. Would have been great if that first goal counted.

I agree with you Dale, but it astounds me that the ref who was 5m away and looking straight at it didn't see the foul, but the linesman 30m+ away did.

Definitely a foul. Although I'd really have liked a closer look at it. I suspect North had a go at grabbing Corey as he ran past him, and ended up taking 2nd prize

I actually thought North grabbed out first. Corey did pull him over though. It's pretty unusual to see a call like that. Corey looked pretty good overall.

Can't recall where the ref was, but wouldn't he have been looking at the cross.  Where as lino would have been looking at the next play (North/Corey) to check for offside.

Replays I saw suggested a foul from grameiro, but what's up with the lino not flagging, and only getting involved once the goal was scored?

Suggests to me that had he not scored then the lino would've let play continue - bizarre to say the least
