God, imagine a complete squad overhaul for a third season in a row... I don't think my poor heart could take it.
Hopefully you're bang on about the clauses, because it would seem rather counter-intuitive to sign a bunch of youngsters only to have them snapped up, or have them leave for nothing.
Originally thought Davila & Ball (possibly) were signed on 2 year deals? Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

My memory may be faulty, but wasn't the same feeling of general positivity about the club the same heading into last year? The rumours about Rudan's departure hadn't started, we were on a 7 game unbeaten run, independent A-League had been confirmed basically securing our future, Krishna was on fire and there was no thoughts about him possibly leaving... then we all know how the season ended.

Payne did a great job coming in for Fenton. I love these new year re-signings. They all give us a good base of players for the next 2 years. We sprinkle in some good imports or raw young talents and we should be fine.
It's interesting to see how fast the club under Uffi turned into a less drama and big speeches into a solid working unit on and off the field.
I think we need a "J. Sotirio - Designated Scapegoat until 2021" thread
I wonder if Sotirio might be best as a wingback. He's got the work rate, fitness and speed to get up and down the pitch all day. Utilise his strengths and avoid his weaknesses. I reckon he could be coached to have decent positioning, passing and limit the risk taking.

Look, he did what he did. It was a controversy regardless how you view the crime. He was deadset to go to the Olympics and was stood down for it. Thats a story and its part of his career
