Can cross off Daniel & Ward, they are confirmed as gone. The rest will be in limbo untill we see if we can find better out in the player market.

Pretty sure he has mentioned since then that we were weighing up better options for Smith and Sanchez. THE UPDATED version obviously shows we haven't seen anyone better than Sanchez so will re-sign him.

We have said we want a youth CB and a youth mid so neither of Tsats or Griff should feel like they have a shot tbh.

Do we have any concern about left back cover?

I don't think either Tsattalios or Griffiths are eligible for an u21 contract.

Well yes but I would expect us to pick up Rowe or Hogg for that. If we don't I'd be a little alarmed. Lochead won't be round much longer and his lack of pace was really exposed against those speedy islanders. We need to blood a new LB this season to take a first team mantle next season.

Isn't Lindsay a youth mid?

Out of the 9 people whose contract expires at the end of this season we could see 6-7 go..

It would be interesting to see what happens, especially if Ricky does really relinquish his powers as coach..

I now we're talking next year, but things could change so much in the next 12 months!!

Yeah I can see this being Pasty's last year.

Then I would imagine Pantelis, Downey and Pav will all be out. Unless one shines this year - or Pantelis is given a shot.

Plus totori and Sanchez are gonna have to prove they are worth that import spot.

I heard rumours that Smith may be an australian citizen this time next year which would be great for us, although Im not sure how it works

No body seems to know about Pav. His seasons well over now I understand. Pretty sure he isnt in Welly as is indicated in that picture. I don't think much of us are complaining that he doesnt look to be part of the squad

It's interesting that he is not here. It's like they have told him to stay away as he is not going to be needed, going to be no use at practice and might be a negative influence on team morale.
You would hope that both player and club are professional, that even if Pav is not seen as starter he is still involved in the team and Pav gives his best at practice.

I really can't see the Nix telling any player not to bother - and to stay away. This isn't Europe where [some] clubs have tons of spare cash, an U21 and Reseve side and lots of triallists attempting to get a contract. 

With Pav we have the bare minimum number of players needed to get through a season. He will be needed at some point, even with the new blood which was brought into the team recently. 

I still don't have an answer about where he is or what he is doing now though.

Mirjan Pavlovic will return from his loan stint in Sydney at the end of September. 
It is interesting he is only returning at the end of September as Sydney Utd did not make the finals and finished their season a couple of weeks ago.

Is it though.  Ricki might just be happy that he's now had a bought of regular appearances and scored a few goals under his belt.  Who knows, maybe he'll step up this season in the way Jeremy did a few years back after playing in the NZFC.
