yeah but those sydney fc players arent actually to bad... I think the 3 that left from this season were probably a little unhappy with kossies dictatorship.

but still. no fear in that side. unlike GCU

He's going to spend a bit of time here and relax with his family, eventually return to Aus where he wants to get involved in youth coaching. Doing his 'B' License soon.

And, he could quite likely be at least on the bench on Sunday.

is that how you get game time / game squad these days?

annonce your retirement and get it served on a silver plate?

what a genius!

No, you get it when Kwasnik is injured, Hearfield is suspended and RH doesn't want to throw Draper and Costa to the wolves.

In other news, Mulligan has the most horrible peroxide blonde hair.

Not to many had the chance this season haha

I know this might sound insane given what we have seen from Mully earlier this season but I wonder why he hasn't been given an opportunity in central midfield (his natural position), at least off the bench. Could be an interesting alternative to Ferrante or Christie, plus his set piece ability would be a nice addition.

All the best for Covs in the future.  He played some good football (sometimes), won us a few penalties and evened scored a reasonable goal.

Was just thinking giving him another go could be a good idea.  He could have just been going through a (very) off patch when he played a few games earlier in the season.

I agree with the idea of trying him in midfield, though he would almsot certainly be a drop in quality.
It's just that early in the season I noticed him trying to move towards the middle of the park when he was playing at right back, like he was stuck in the mind-set that he is a central midfielder.

yeah exactly what I have been thinking these last few weeks. why havent we seen mulligan? of course he was sh*te over the first few games... but sure we could give him a chance in another position. we have kwasnik another go and wasnt below average.

but now it is possilbly to late..

I dont agree, giving the youingsters experience must be the more productive option.

Because Right Back is his natural position....
The couple of times I've seen him attempt to play in the middle of the pitch, he hasn't looked like a midfielders asshole

But putting the pressure of a must win game against a team we've never beat on their shoulders may be counter-productive.  If we don't get a win this week then expect to see them on the pitch for the last game vs Melbourne though - similar to last season.

Apparently he will be on on Sunday for a sentimental frolic, (read that Ricki said that),  so I hope you are all in good voice for it, the world will be listening

He's faster than me.

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.
