i think the marketing department or person needs to do more work on the out of wellington fans.i do not have sky like a lot of people so you do not hear much about the phoenix games there is no advertising in wanganui to let people know about the phoenix and when there games are, i would guess it would be the same in most other cities and towns in the lower north island.if i did not come on this website or the phoenix one i would never know what was happening down in phoenix city

think u may need to look at the cost of going to the phoenix games as well especially with one or more kids, I live in wellington and game day for me and my son costs around $60 with the tickets, programmes and his usaul hot chips plus train fare, if something could be done more with ticketing for games and making it more fisible for familys then this just may get more seats covered.

I just wish you guys had a dedicated football stadium to be honest. 20,000 capacity max, fans close to the pitch, would be a much better overall experience. Those egg-chasers cutting up the pitch every weekend doesn't help either.

Failing that though, only good entertainment will attract people back, and that ain't happening at the moment. Of course there are various things you can try in terms of marketing, but in the main, the entertainment on offer has to market itself!
