Was lucky and happened to be filming when he scored.

You could feel something was going to happen, they were hammering away for a good 10 minutes.

Enjoy

Ah, better with every viewing.

McKinna said afterwards that the goal was a result of not enough pressure on the crosser (Bertos), but watching this I don't see what else the defender could have done.

Great stuff, reliving the moment I'm glad someone got footage of that.  Now if that had been El**ch trying to cross there wouldn't have been any shimmeys and he would have thundered it straight into the defender.  Beautiful cross and Daniel right where he needed to be and with the strength to get over the defender to head it in.

way to go alsheepa

reminds me of how many times we were able to find players in space out wide

perhaps mcKinna felt the fullback should have had cover - but because we'd dragged them all across to their left he was sh*t out of luck

In my view the guy 'defending' Daniel was more to blame than him. A perfect cross to Daniel's head made it difficut though.

Notice Bertos did a few stepovers but didnt look up before he fired it in.
but credit to him he put it into the perfect spot, was lucky Daniel was arriving at the right time!

I agree with McKinna, gave someone like Bertos far too much room. Bloody good job he did too!

I got goose pimples watching that...maybe I'm not the emotional dwarf my missus reckons after all

Thanks for the clip, Glad I didn't go, I was on sick leave and I just saw my boss near the front row. I would have been snapped BIG time if I had attended!

Good news, HarryHotspur! You are not an "emotional dwarf".

Tell your missus that the term 'dwarf" is no longer PC!

The correct description is "little person" ...  so walk tall, little dude!

Thanks for the sentiment scribbler, although perhaps I should have hyphenated 'emotional-dwarf' as the negativity of the language is exactly her point!!

When it comes to sport, and a good comeback/underdog story, I think a lot of us might be emotional....hmm, need to find something big and manly sounding.....emotional big dawgs!
