I see pretty much every Australian side has been suggested so far,
so stuff it.
WHY NOT EVERY TEAM AS A RIVAL!?
As far as I see it, they would all be "distance
derbies".

He may not be at Perth. He's playing in Turkey and rumour is
he may stay there.
well, hopefully for the Glory and for the A-League he will come
back. He's a good player.

Personally I say WELLINGTON vs EVERYONE ELSE...Bring the
Intensity at every match, Destroy all Australian Teams! 
We could just go for the 'everyones 2nd favourite' tag seeing as
local rivals are unlikely.
You guys are my second favourite. Just got to get use to
the new name without NZ in it.
With Aloisi on board, I'd say there'd be little love lost with
Adelaide. And Adelaide did manage to lose to the Knights last
year, and/or concede goals.
football tragic for too long
Yeah..I never thought about that..I sure there will be a massive
build up before the first Phoenix and Adelaide game.
And with this new Brazilain signing, who Adelaide apparently wanted, the rivalry with them is sure to heat up even more.
Newcastle wanted him too. If you get Coveny to go with
Brown that could stir it up even more.
If the Phoenix get Bertos and Christie there will be a bit of
a thing between you and Perth.
The only teams I can't really see a rivalry starting up
with is Queensland.
Any reasons why you guys should hate Queensland???
