Everyone knows the terrible plight of being a woman trapped in a man's body, but a man trapped in another man's body is in an even worse predicament.

Are you trying to tell us something Doloras?

You've got me, Smithy. As AJ13 has so rightly explained, women have no place at the football, and I'm an 80-year-old Chinese man wearing pink panties. Still feeling aroused, Cosimo?Doloras2011-02-24 10:01:50

Oh, you poor thing.

One thing that Dmac proved was that his size and type of game, suits the way the Nix play. Much more so than a small type striker like Greenacre.

If we are to perservere with the wide, get crosses  into the box game, then I would actually prefer Dmac than Greenacre. Dmac is also younger and cheaper than Greenacre.

So if Dmac goes, first thing on the shopping list is a striker....good in the air, who holds the ball up well and can distribute, is quicker and nimbler than Dmac and can finish well like Kruse. So take a number Nix, sit down and wait your turn behind hundreds of other football clubs who are all looking for the same thing.

Would not be surprised if Dmac went to CCM.....he's streets better than McBreen.

Fixed.

Seems like it son.  It's not you, it's me.

Would have been great for you to meet your half-brother and sister - sadly not to be.

Maybe one day we can make that trip to Scotland that we talked so much about (via White Hart Lane and St James' Park).

Thanks "Uncle" Junior.

Will this mean Mum will stop talking to herself and  won't have to go back to the special hospital again?

Getting back to Dmac, My bet is he ends up at the heart, They just lost a troop of descent players to retirement and will be wanting a few new players, Dmac might look to them as a better-than-nothing replacement targetman for Sibon.

Okay, Doloras, Napier Phoenix, Jag, Junior 82, why don't you just open up a thread in the off topic section, and have your bloody dramas there.
God this forum is like home and away sometimes.

Neither do I. It's an applied example of Doyles Third Law of the Internet: any woman posting in a male-dominated forum will become the focus of romantic banter, no matter how physically hideous or unpleasantly shrewish she is.

Yes - it constantly amazes me how far from football this forum gets when you're around here..

Still, it does make things a bit more ... what's the word. Interesting.

The Phoenix is one big soap opera and we are all part of it.

I think of it more like Coro St

Napier = Mike Baldwin (the scoundrel)
Doloras = Elsie Tanner (played in real life by Pat Phoenix)
Jag cculd be Les Battersby (or maybe more of a Jack Duckworth)
I think of myself as more of the Stan Ogden kind.

(Leggy = Albert Tatlock)

Back on topic then, is it confirmed that we aren't offering DMac an extention? If so they must be pretty confident of getting someone better. I think we all agree that DMac has been pretty good value but if, say, Rojas leaves and we end up depending on Leo to put across the ball, we can have Wayne bloody Rooney and it will be no good.

Mostly agree Mike.

I thought he has been good when partnering with Greenie. They seemed to have good awareness of each other's positions. Not so good without his side-kick.

Anyway- so if it isn't confirmed that he hasn't been offered an extension and Marco hasn't actually made any decision yet... what'sa matter?

But our Albert was grumpy but likeable!

Actually maybe Jag is more Lloyd Mullaney/Dave Lister.

Good point this C-Diddy. When Kwasnik had that good form scoring goals through this season and last at CCM I remember thinking why couldn't he have done that when he was with us?
To be fair, Kwasnik wasn't in favour with Ricki as we had better performers available.
Hope D- Mac stays.
