WTF? look at these from the article.
"England-born Barbados international Paul Infill"
"It Ifill's his first goal since the round 15 win at Newcastle, the Phoenix's last victory."
"as the contest turned tetchy(have never heard that word so presume its not a real word, please correct me if need be) after a benign first half marked by low quality finishing."
"Phoenix midfielder Troy Harefield had the best visitor's best opportunity in the fourth minute "
"Phoenix and national coach coach Ricki Herbert"
Is he high.

Three for me, and two for them.

I think you could find at least 10 things wrong in that article. Could be a record.

I spotted 8 errors. They are as follows:
"Two second half strikes by England-born Barbados international Paul Infill enabled the Phoenix"
"It Ifill's his first goal since the round 15 win at Newcastle, the Phoenix's last victory. "
"Although there was no dispute about the spot kick being awarded the Mariners felt they were denied a penalty a minute before the break when defender Tony Lochhead clipped Matt Simon though fortunately for the Phoenix the striker's first touch took the ball away from goal leaving referee Matthew Breeze to wave play on." - needs a comma in there somewhere!
"the first of five second * bookings as the contest turned tetchy after a benign first half marked by low quality finishing. " * second half I can only assume is what is meant to be said here.
"Phoenix midfielder Troy Harefield" - Wow.
"All White Michael McGlinchy" - Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe it's McGlinchey.
"Phoenix and national coach coach Ricki Herbert"
"The Mariners were left to contemplate their fifth straight defeat -- their worst ever run in the A-League -- and a fifth unsuccessful to better the Phoenix since the 2008-09 season. " - I think I know what's being got at there but it's missing a few words.
I'm sure I'd spotted another but I can't remember it.
Any others?
