Good save keeper

Going to be tough for any Nix player to beat out Marinovic for Player of the Year. Top saves

If we can hang in there till half time maybe we can change things in the 2nd half but it's not looking good. Such a promising break a few minutes ago and we ballsed it up good and proper.

2 CMs down for the price of none. This could be what decides the match

Have they indicated what the attendance is yet?

Do these human sized bananas not understand people don’t pay to watch backwards passing and want to be entertained??

When the most entertaining Phoenix moments have been our goal keeper making good saves you know it hasn't been the best half...

A little harsh but have to admit I laughed at the human sized bananas...

WSW are very organized and pressing well,  choking any attacks we launch. Even when we try to go forward out wide they pin us down straight away. Very uncomfortable opposition, making life very hard for our boys. We need to be more organized in midfield and some creativity needed to play some decent passes in the opposition half. Everyone needs to step up.

We are always stronger in the second half so hopefully us holding them out for nil lines us up to win it in the second.

Gorgeous. About enough for Sotirio to keep his starting spot for next week!

He did that very well and kept his head.  Sotario gets alot of stick but I think he does well and his pace always causes problems

Thats a fantastic little flick assist from Ball.

Classy finish, even classier assist from Ball. What a goal and so stoked for Sotirio, he deserved to bang one

Annual finals disappointment enthusiast.

Hopefully that goal will wake our boys up and give them that extra bit of zip they were missing in the first half

Why was that not a foul on Sotirio? Kamau was a mile late on him.

How the hell did he miss that (at least it would have been offside)

Bugger me that one seemed soft but it has felt like at least one is coming for 64 mins.

Time for Hooper?

Permalink Permalink

That's going to be a nervy final 20 mins. Could go either way. That WSW goal came out of the blue, unlucky

Permalink Permalink

How did that get a yellow?

Seemed like the same thing that gave us a nose bleed.

Bit rough if Payne gets a card there. Not much could be done on his part

Permalink Permalink

Payne did not deserve a yellow for that.

That guy makes me wince every time he dives into a challenge. Love a physical mid giving his all but he's really treading a fine line.

Totally agree. He’s a broken leg waiting to happen. He’s nuggety but green.
