was thinking about this post yesterday, and wanted to spark it back to life.

Is burning an effigy of Steve Irwin's monkey-faced daughter suitable for the Queensland game?

All I do is make the stuff I would've liked
Reference things I wanna watch, reference girls I wanna bite
Now I'm firefly like a burning kite

I'm surprised the names Paul Henry and Robbie Slater haven't popped up yet!

Who needs to burn an effigy anyway when we've got a RING OF FIRE!

Mind you, a blazing phoenix figure would look good...

Maybe burn Adam Gilchrist Effigy?

An effigy is a representation of a person.

Better scale the ears down a bit. You'll end up burning the stadium down otherwise

Nip down the road from the Fever Lounge to the Green Parrot, grab a Politician (or entince him with booze) and take him back to the Fever Lounge. Tie him up at the traffic lights outside at half time and LIGHT HIM UP.

Frankie Mac, definitely appropriate to burn an effigy of Steve Irwin's daughter, Id say it would be rude not to. More effigy burning is very necessary

That is definately not suitable. She has nothing to do with football and considering she's famous mainly through the father she just lost that would be low and pathetic.

And come on, she's only about 9.

I'm sorry, but I have to say that this is a disgusting and repulsive suggestion, and unworthy of a public forum.

To even think about making an effigy of this unique child, young Bindi Irwin, dressing her in a smart little safari suit, outback booties and one of those cute wee Akubra hats with the corks dangling down around her weirdly self-assured simian face, also maybe a stuffed toy wombat/platypus/stingray clutched in her little chimp paw or a real live taipan draped around her neck and then mounting her up on a giant stuffed emu like one from a museum or something, with, like, a saddle and little reins, and then dousing the whole thing in petrol and putting a match to it and dancing round and round, faster and faster, all howling some sort of bestial ritualistic chant while ACDC plays mega-loud in the background...well, I just think that would be sick.

I am surprised that we've not had the suggestion of David Beckham, you know, tie it to a lamp post and set it on fire. It'd make him feel right at home, it'd almost be like he was in England again.

i didn't mean burn it in the stadium in the street before going to the stadium would be better.i have 6 of them so burning one would be no problem
