I would imagine they'll leave it for now, there aren't any terribly
strong contenders for the remaining slot, and signing someone just
because we have space is wasteful.
Plus it means we can save that slot for Leo Bertos next season
:P

spot for Leo next season, just that there's not any real need to
sign a player now for numbers sake. Plus if we start calling

Go back and read the thread, Tony P has already said that they
haven't even talked to Ricki yet. The only quote was from
Terry and at the end of the day Ricki will be the one making the
footballing calls. The only quotes were that players will be
leaving at the end of the season, and that is obvious.
Speculation about who those people will be is fatuous.

The thing with the State leagues is that there are 7 Aus sides
scouring them... I just don't see us unearthing players they
miss.
Most Adelaide fans have no idea why Rees wasn't in the squad. I'm hearing rumours Salley is on the outer at Adelaide as well, maybe we take him on loan for the rest of the season to cover the fragility of Aloisi and Johnson.

My sentiments exactly. I'd love to see him stay on as a coach, but there is the problem of us already having two class assitants, plus I'd like to see Covs do the same.
