Thanks for all you've done for the Phoenix. It's been a great three years.
Best of luck.

Huge thanks for your awesome contribution. Your contact with everyone through the forum added another dimension that really created a real link between the club and the fans - a very wise approach.

I don't know if the Phoenix grants life memberships but how about one for Tony!

Also, isn't their a space going on the Phoenix Board? We don't need to lose you completely mate!

All the best Tony. You have been great here, a true professional in all you did, I liked the way you have answered on the forum too, keeping us right in touch with the club.

Have often thought what a difference between you and Chris Turner from the Kingz /Knights days, you have been very credible in all your dealings with the media

A great Aussie ambassador by default, hope you get to stay in the business

Cheers

Good on ya cobber all the best!

you've done a fantastic job for the club - much appreciated - and have been a big part of the phoenix success

you'll be a hard act to replace

sorry to see you going, but all the best to you and your family and may the future be exciting - but not with a competing A-League club :)

Thanks Tony,

I hope that you be getting right back into the football business yet again. You certainly have all the recommendations from the owner, coach, players and the fans in Wellington. If there are more of your type about in the A-League, there wouldn't be so much financial problems among the clubs.

Still looking forward for your ongoing contribution to the forum at the very least.

So long and thanks (for the fish),
AWB.

splitter!
Profile pic. Should you be interested. Lakhsen, on the right, lost touch with him.
Mohammed, on the left, I'm still in touch with. He's now living in Agadez, Niger. More focused on his animals now as tourism has dried up. Is active with a co-op promoting local goods, leather work and bijouterie, into Europe.

You were the best manager the Phoenix ever had.

I think it speaks volumes when not a single person has a bad word to say about how you conducted business at the Nix over the last three years.

You're a true legend of the club Tony and good luck for the future.

From the mighty Sunday News:

Beyond that he says he'll start looking for a new challenge and hopes to stay in a sporting environment, perhaps even with another A-League outfit.

"I'll havea few weeks off and then I'll look for a new job. Hopefully, I can stay in the game because I think I have a lot to offer.

"If there's a role at another A-League club in Australia I'd look at it never say never. But I'll be the first to admit I'll never ever forget my time with the Phoenix and what we've achieved. They will always have a special place in my heart."Sunday News

Bloody media, what a bunch of twats, was disappointed to see them questioning Tony such rubbish. Surveillance cameras, seriously? Must be a very slow week in the media for them..

Hope you are able to enjoy the world cup in peace Tony!

We will never fully decide who has won the football.

I really want to know where some of these insane rumours come from. "Surveillance cameras"? Is that completely made up - for example, by one of Terry S's contractors - or is it something that has a basis in fact, but got twisted by the rumour mill?

I will always remember Tony signing my sons shirt at the old Phoenix shop one day. Tony was surprised that someone would want his autograph. Why not, he's part of the team when you think about it.
All the best.

I think it is pretty safe to say that YF loves Tony as much as we love Terry, Ricki, or any player.
