He has played poor but he does have the ability to be a great player i knw he hasent showed it at allll the last couple of games but when he was at Melbourne i thought he was reallly good one of the best in league. So give him time. Wel c how he goes. Once he scores a ripper ull all be saying hes the man.

too true....soo quick to ridicule, he's still a phoenix boy and if he plays i'll be chanting my heart out for him not waiting for him to f**k up so i can say "i told you he was sh*t!"

They seem to like him for free kicks and perhaps its just the pressure getting to him.  We did use Daniel and Felipe I believe for free kicks/corners after Ferrante's woeful kicks but they didn't do much better.  Give him a bit of time to settle and he should be fine.

I'm not saying he's useless, but he clearly hasn't been performing in these last two games so he should be subbed. This will make him more hungry to suceed and he'll play harder and brake back into the first team.

I couldn't understand why Aloisi wasn't taking free-kicks, he took some beautiful ones for Adelaide - unless that was Travis Dodd, I can't remember which of them it was actually, but please Ricki put a player on free-kicks who has the confidence to try to put it into the top corner or something like that.

hate to do it but..I think ferrante is the worst signing in the team....he gets alot of the bal but has very poor distribution......can only decribe him as a talentless hack

Jesus Christ, it's two bloody games!  So far we've only seen about 15 or 16 of our players play a cometitive match.  Get some perspective.  He is not "crap", he did not have a great game on the weekend but who did?  All of this rubbish about him playing right midfield and drifting inside leaving a whole at RB is absolute bollocks.  He is playing in deep centre midfield with Ross, not at RM.  We are not playing 4-4-2, start opening your eyes.

fair play JD...I have view him when at Melbourne and honestly believe that he has not improved one bit....he has poor ball distribution & freqently has poor attempts at either free kicks or shots on goal....I must admit that he does try hard...I will give him that....but having & big heart & getting alot of the ball does no good if you waste opportunities...
